In this role, you'll analyse work order trends, workforce productivity, and scheduling efficiency to support Maintenance Engineering. Collaborate with stakeholders and the Maximo team to ensure data accuracy, drive continuous improvement, and optimise operations. If you're passionate about using data to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.\nThis role can be based at any Transgrid depot (Sydney, Newcastle, Wagga Wagga, Orange, Yass, Tamworth).\nWhat will you do:\nProvide custom reports to track Maintenance Performance Index (MPI)and team effectiveness and analyse planning cycles and recommend process enhancements\nDeliver regular insights to support Maintenance, Field Delivery, and Construction teams Track Planned vs. Scheduled Work Orders and identify delays or anomalies\nEnsure data accuracy in scheduling and workforce systems\nLiaise across Business units to gather data and guide system enhancements\nDevelop KPIs and benchmarks for field productivity\nIdentify underutilisation patterns and propose mitigation strategies\nAbout You\nBachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or related field.\nExperience in an analytics roles focused on operations, field services, or workforce planning, ideally within the energy sector.\nStrong experience with Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Dax and workflow tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP, Maximo).\nAbility to interpret and visualise complex datasets for non-technical audiences.\nStrong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.\nThis opportunity includes:\nStarting base salary of $137,865 + 16.5% superannuation\nA 9-day fortnight with a rostered day off\nCorporate discounts across retail, utilities, travel, health and wellbeing\nOur Values\nTransgrid’s core values encompass safety, achievement, integrity, unity and service.
