You will have an opportunity to make a real difference and leave a legacy.\nAbout the role\nHumeLink is one of Australia’s largest and most significant energy infrastructure projects and a critical part of the transformation of the National Electricity Market. This is a unique opportunity to take on a senior delivery leadership role on HumeLink East, working at significant scale across a complex and high-profile transmission line construction program.\nAs Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of a major construction workstream, with a primary focus on tower Assembly & Erection, while coordinating key interfaces across Stringing, property access and broader construction activities. You will play a key role in driving safe and successful delivery across multiple workfronts, with accountability for quality, schedule, cost and commercial outcomes.\nThis role will require regular travel to project sites, which includes Tumut, Yass and Goulburn.\nWhat you’ll do\nManaging the end-to-end delivery of this major transmission infrastructure project, your role will see you:\nEngage and collaborate with contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to support effective project delivery and issue resolution.\nManage project planning, scheduling, risk, resources and cost controls to maintain delivery performance and project objectives.\nMonitor contractor performance, compliance requirements and project progress, providing accurate reporting and stakeholder updates.\nDrive commercial outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs and deliver value for the project.\nAbout you\nBringing a collaborative and decisive leadership style, with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes, our ideal candidate will have:\nTertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Civil preferred) or a related discipline, supported by a strong understanding of infrastructure project delivery and engineering principles.\nStrong business and commercial acumen, with the ability to balance technical, operational and financial considerations to achieve project objectives.\nSignificant experience delivering major infrastructure projects, ideally including overhead transmission line projects.\nDemonstrated experience in contract management and negotiation, including contractor performance management, and dispute resolution.\nExceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities and communicate complex issues clearly.\nA current Australian drivers licence.\nWhy this role?\nThis is an opportunity to combine your major project expertise with meaningful purpose, playing a significant role in delivering the transmission infrastructure that will power Australia's renewable energy future and create lasting impact for our communities.\nBe part of something bigger - Leadership Principles\nAt Transgrid, our Leadership Principles-Courage, Care, Clarity, and Connection-form the foundation of how we lead.
