Operating over 13,000 km of high-voltage transmission lines and 128 substations across NSW and the ACT, we connect electricity generators to the distribution network-powering homes, businesses, and communities.\nAs the energy sector evolves, we’re growing our workforce to drive innovation and transformation.\nThe Opportunity\nWe are currently seeking a capable and proactive Workplace Services Coordinator to join our team in Tamworth on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working three days per week, with the potential for the role to be extended or become permanent.\nIn addition to front-of-house responsibilities, you will provide administrative support delivering high quality, timely services including, reception services and general office administration.\nAdditional responsibilities include overseeing the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, coordinating internal and external deliveries, couriers and collections, and managing the issuing and maintenance of the security keys and access cards system.\nPlease note, this role is based on site three days per week.\nA Day in the Life at Transgrid\nOn any given day, you might:\nManage visitor access, site security, and switchboard operations across office and depot environments. \nCoordinate and respond to property maintenance requests. \nAssist in the delivery of WHS-aligned emergency plans and hazard monitoring. \nDeliver a range of administrative services including meeting support, document control, travel booking, and database updates. \nCollaborate with Transgrid teams and external vendors to maintain site standards and service levels. \nAbout You\nYou are an organised and proactive professional with experience in workplace coordination/administration, executive support or reception/FOH within a corporate, government or regulated setting.\nYour approach is collaborative, and you’re known for staying composed and solutions-focused when juggling competing demands.\nYou will also bring:\nA warm, professional manner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. \nA strong understanding of office operations. \nThorough knowledge at a general user level of Microsoft Office \nAbility and willingness to develop and learn corporate systems and new skills as required for the role. \nAbility to operate typical office equipment such as printers, photocopiers, and binding machines. \nGood communication skills (written and verbal) to liaise with team members, Managers, and other internal and external stakeholders. \nOur Values\nTransgrid’s core values encompass safety, achievement, integrity, and service.
