This role partners closely with the SPM Product Owner to deliver roadmap initiatives, enhancements, integrations, and operational improvements while ensuring solutions align with ServiceNow platform architecture, development standards, security requirements, and governance practices. While the primary focus will be SPM, the engineer may also support other ServiceNow products and platform initiatives as business priorities and demand require.Job Description\nWhat You Will Do:\nLead the technical design, development, configuration, and support of ServiceNow SPM solutions.\nPartner directly with the SPM Product Owner to refine requirements, recommend technical approaches, estimate work, and support prioritization.\nTranslate product roadmap priorities and business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.\nDevelop and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Data Policies, Flow Designer solutions, integrations, and ServiceNow APIs.\nDesign and support integrations using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and other approved ServiceNow capabilities.\nProvide technical leadership throughout planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.\nPerform code reviews, mentor developers, and promote secure and maintainable development practices.\nLead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex platform and application issues.\nSupport upgrades, release validation, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer.\nPromote out-of-the-box capabilities, platform standardization, governance, and technical debt reduction.\nWhat You Will Need:\nStrong hands-on experience designing, developing, and configuring solutions within ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management.\nExperience with SPM capabilities such as Project Portfolio Management, Demand Management, Resource Management, Financial Management, Time Management, and Project Workspace.\nAdvanced ServiceNow development experience, including JavaScript, server-side and client-side scripting, Flow Designer, integrations, and APIs.\nAbility to independently design scalable solutions and resolve complex technical and application issues.\nAbility to partner effectively with Product Owners, project teams, architects, business analysts, and stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment.\nStrong communication, analytical problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.\nA continuous-improvement mindset with an emphasis on maintainability, standardization, and out-of-the-box capabilities.\nQualifications\nActive ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.\n5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, management information systems, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.\nPreferred\nServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in Strategic Portfolio Management.\nActive ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.\nExperience designing or supporting ServiceNow Platform Analytics, including dashboards, data visualizations, KPIs, scorecards, and portfolio reporting.\nExperience with Automated Test Framework, platform upgrades, data migration, workspace experiences, and enterprise integrations.\nExperience mentoring developers or leading technical delivery.\nWorking Conditions\n· Office environment\n· Hybrid working conditions 3 days in office.\n· Moderate travel\nCompensation:\nThe Salary for this position generally ranges between $109,000 - $141,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs.
