You will also have the opportunity to work in a modern, inspiring environment.\n Reporting to the Director, Financial reports and optimization, the Senior Financial Analyst will participate in the analysis and preparation of Air Transat's financial statements and be responsible for the accounting and financial aspects of the aircraft leases. The incumbent's thoroughness, methodology and excellent analytical skills will also contribute to the overall financial reporting process.\nResponsibilities\nAct as the responsible for the balance sheet and coordinate the analysis of balance sheet accounts;\nPrepare balance sheet/profit and loss, budgeted balance sheet/ profit and loss and forecasted balance sheet/ profit and loss;\nProduce monthly financial statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements;\nComplete financial information for consolidation purposes;\nCoordinate month ends and closing in SAP;\nAnalyze financial clauses of aircraft leases and make calculations in relation to new leases and amendments (IFRS 16);\nAct as an internal consultant for all issues related to the consolidation and accounting of leases;\nAnalyze insurance and fixed assets;\nCoordinate, communicate and schedule internal and external audits;\nRespond to all requests from governmental authorities.\nRecognized professional designation (CPA);\nMinimum of 5 years experience, open to candidates in public practice;\nExcellent interpersonal and teamwork skills;\nStrong interest in the use and maximization of SAP;\nGood knowledge of IFRS standards;\nExcellent knowledge of Excel;\nGood knowledge of Microsoft suite tools;\nAbility to work under tight deadlines.\nOral and written fluency in French and English *\n*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.\n Artificial intelligence tools are used to analyze applications, whether to sort or preselect profiles based on criteria related to job requirements.
