The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable operating with ambiguity and limited precedent, enjoys designing and improving processes from the ground up, and is willing to move between hands-on execution and process design as the department scales. This role will support a debt portfolio in non-recourse Project Financing loans and cash management for more than +100 bank accounts and 30+ legal entities. The Finance Manager will manage Project Financing closings, Term conversions, and the establishment of sophisticated monitoring processes for Tax Equity Partnerships and dividend distributions.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nExecute PF Closings and Term Loan conversions.\n\nManage the service in non-recourse PF debt (e.g. - Tax Equity Bridge Loan and Construction Loan), ensuring all principal and interest payments are executed accurately.\n\nPrepare and review PF covenant reporting to ensure strict adherence to lender requirements.\n\nManage daily cash operations and the +100 bank accounts, including dozens of restricted reserve accounts required by non-recourse PF agreements.\n\nSupport and enhance cash positioning and cash forecasting processes and reporting.\n\nSupport the process for calculating quarterly distributable cash and monitoring partnership shortfalls to initiate margin calls according to the agreements.\n\nSupport the management of interest rate swaps and hedging strategies to protect project cash flows from market volatility.\n\nAssist in developing and implementing financial policies and internal controls specific to treasury and project finance operations.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.\n\n6+ years of progressive experience in project finance, treasury, or corporate finance, with a focus on utility-scale energy projects.\n\nHands-on experience with PF debt and waterfall structures.\n\nProven ability to manage high-volume financial transactions and multi-account structures.\n\nAdvanced proficiency with Excel and financial modeling for debt service and dividend distributions.\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience in renewable energy and/or project finance preferred.\n\nExperience using SAP, banking portals and Treasury Management Systems.\n\nDemonstrated experience in improving financial processes and reporting structures.\n\nBilingual proficiency in Korean and English a plus.\n\nCPA or CFA a plus.\n\nWORK AUTHORIZATION\nThe ideal candidate for this role will have authorization to work in the US prior to joining TransGrid Energy LLC.
