TransGrid has a robust pipeline of projects under construction and in late-stage development, and the Company is actively expanding its energy asset portfolio across the United States.\nAs an affiliate company of Hanwha Group, a FORTUNE Global 500 company driven by a firm commitment to advancing the clean energy future, TransGrid Energy is striving to shape the renewable energy landscape by providing sustainable and reliable power solutions tailored to meet the energy needs of today and tomorrow.\nPOSITION OVERVIEW\nTransGrid Energy is seeking a hands-on and highly motivated HR Generalist to support and independently manage key HR operations across the employee lifecycle.\nReporting directly to the Head of Human Resources, this role will serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent delivery of HR services while supporting the continued growth and organizational integration of TGE 2.0.\nThe ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional who can take ownership of assigned HR processes, independently manage day-to-day HR operations, and proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.\nThis position requires a strong foundation in payroll coordination, benefits administration, HRIS management, employee relations, leave administration, and multi-state HR compliance. The successful candidate will be comfortable balancing detailed operational responsibilities with process improvement initiatives in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.\nWorking closely with HR leadership, Finance, Payroll, Legal, Talent Acquisition, and external service providers, the HR Generalist will play an important role in strengthening HR operational excellence and establishing scalable, consistent HR practices across the organization.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nProvide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, leave of absence, and offboarding.\nCoordinate new hire onboarding activities, including offer documentation, pre-employment requirements, HRIS setup, benefits enrollment, orientation, and required employment documentation.\nAdminister employee changes in the HRIS and maintain accurate employee records, organizational data, job information, compensation changes, and personnel documentation.\nSupport payroll administration by reviewing employee changes, time and attendance information, deductions, one-time payments, and other payroll-related items for accuracy and timely processing.\nAdminister employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HSA, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits; coordinate with brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators as needed.\nSupport annual open enrollment, new hire enrollment, qualifying life events, benefit eligibility changes, and employee benefit inquiries.\nProvide guidance on company policies, procedures, and employee programs while escalating complex or sensitive matters to HR leadership as appropriate.\nSupport employee relations matters by documenting concerns, gathering relevant information, assisting with investigations, and ensuring consistent application of company policies.\nCoordinate leaves of absence and accommodation processes in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements and company policy.\nMonitor HR compliance requirements and support required filings, notices, audits, recordkeeping, and policy updates, including employment eligibility and EEO-related requirements.\nPartner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on recruiting activities as needed, including job postings, interview coordination, offer preparation, background checks, and onboarding handoff.\nPrepare and maintain HR reports, headcount information, organizational charts, employee data, and other workforce analytics for HR leadership and business stakeholders.\nAssist with compensation administration, including salary changes, bonus data, market benchmarking support, and maintenance of job descriptions and job data.\nCoordinate with external vendors and service providers to resolve employee issues and ensure accurate administration of HR programs.\nSupport employee engagement initiatives, company communications, training, performance management, and other HR programs and special projects.\nHandle confidential and sensitive employee information with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.\nIdentify o\npportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, workflows, and employee experience as the organization continues to grow.\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a generalist, HR operations, or HR business partner support role.\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nStrong working knowledge of core HR practices, including onboarding, benefits, payroll coordination, employee relations, leave administration, HR compliance, and employee recordkeeping.\nExperience working with HRIS, payroll, time and attendance, benefits administration, and applicant tracking systems; experience with ADP Workforce Now is strongly preferred.\nWorking knowledge of federal and state employment laws and the ability to research and apply requirements across multiple states.\nAbility to independently manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced and evolving environment.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with employees, managers, leadership, and external partners.\nDemonstrated discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential employee and business information.\nStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, follow-through, and problem-solving ability.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.\nExperience supporting a multi-state workforce, high-growth organization, energy company, or similarly complex business environment is preferred.\nProfessional HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is preferred but not required.\nWORK AUTHORIZATION\nThe ideal candidate for this role will have authorization to work in the US prior to joining TransGrid Energy LLC.
