In addition to front-of-house responsibilities, you will provide administrative support delivering high quality, timely services including, reception services and office administration support.\nAdditional responsibilities include overseeing the distribution of mail deliveries, servicing both internal and external including couriers and collections. You will also be responsible for issuing and maintaining the security keys and cards system.\nPlease note, this role is based on site five days per week.\nA Day in the Life at Transgrid\nOn any given day, you might:\nManage visitor access, site security, and switchboard operations across office and depot environments.\n\nCoordinate and respond to property maintenance requests.\n\nAssist in the delivery of WHS-aligned emergency plans and hazard monitoring.\n\nDeliver a range of administrative services including meeting support, document control, travel booking, and database updates.\n\nCollaborate with Transgrid teams and external vendors to maintain site standards and service levels.\n\nAbout You\nYou are an organised and proactive professional with experience in workplace coordination/administration, executive support or reception/FOH within a corporate, government or regulated setting.\nYour approach is collaborative, and you’re known for staying composed and solutions-focused when juggling competing demands.\nYou will also bring:\nA warm, professional manner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.\n\nA strong understanding of office operations.\n\nThorough knowledge at a general user level of Microsoft Office\n\nAbility and willingness to develop and learn corporate systems and new skills as required for the role.\n\nAbility to operate typical office equipment such as printers, photocopiers, and binding machines.\n\nGood communication skills (written and verbal) to liaise with team members, Managers, and other internal and external stakeholders.\n\nBenefits & Perks\nAt Transgrid, we empower our people with a well-rounded benefits package designed to support their personal, professional, and social well-being, helping them deliver their best work every day.
