We have an entrepreneurial culture and collaboratively develop our business with patience and discipline; we work hard, learn constantly, and relentlessly improve our expertise.\nResponsibilities\nDesign network solutions for TMG’s automated trading infrastructure\nImplement and maintain a high availability, low latency network infrastructure\nTroubleshoot network and network related issues\nCollaborate with other team members on new technology solutions\nWork with other teams within the firm to address technological issues\nProactively monitor the network and provide capacity planning\nParticipate in the on-call support rotation and some weekend work\nMentor junior engineers from a technical perspective\nRequirements\nSeasoned engineer, ideally with a CCIE, experience building and maintaining production financial/trading networks\nExperience with multicast and unicast routing protocols (TCP/IP, PIM, BGP, OSPF)\nExperience with the design, deployment, and operation of modern IP multicast networks\nWorking knowledge of low latency networking concepts\nExperience with firewall administration and site to site VPN\nSome hands-on required for data center work\nDeep understanding of the TCP/IP stack\nExperience with packet capture and tcpdump analysis tools\nKnowledge of high accuracy timing protocols\nExperience with network management software and tools\nScripting language experience such as python for network automation, testing, and troubleshooting\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills\nThis position requires physical presence and is onsite (no remote work)\nBenefits\nWe offer one of the most generous profit sharing programs in the industry because we believe our employees should be able to take part in our rapid growth and success.
