The Director of Business Development will be responsible for identifying and engaging with client prospects as well as managing client relationships during the full life cycle of client campaigns. Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably with a background and awareness of digital.\nKey position responsibilities:\nSource and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means (tradeshows, regional organizations, etc.)\n\nBuild a productive pipeline and manage each phase of the sales process\n\nCultivate and maintain long term relationships with clients by delivering elite client service and engaging them by using knowledge of each industry and organization\n\nFormulate sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets\n\nGenerate daily outreach efforts (direct mail, digital marketing, cold calls) to prospective clients\n\nDevelop an effective understanding of the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of TransPerfect's services\n\nPresent TransPerfect's solutions via one-on-one, group, online and in-person meetings\n\nSet and manage client expectations while consulting with each client for best practices\n\nManage and control pricing and contractual issues\n\nTravel (including multiple annual conferences, client meetings) - domestic and/or international\n\nRequirements\nEssential skills required:\nCommit to a high level of integrity and service\n\nDeliver quality work\n\nService focused with a desire to exceed clients’ expectations\n\nOwning your performance and taking responsibility\n\nMultitask and work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment\n\nCommit to always treating everyone (from clients to co-workers to vendors to business partners) with the ultimate level of respect\n\nWork well in a team with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures\n\nBuild and maintain strategic relationships with clients and co-workers\n\nCelebrate diversity and embrace new ideas and differing perspectives\n\nBe financially responsible and make sound financial decisions\n\nTake active measures to achieve results and solve problems\n\nEssential experience required:\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience\n\nMinimum 3 years successful sales experience\n\nPrevious experience within the media industry\n\nPrevious experience or understanding of the dubbing industry\n\nSuperior written and spoken communication skills\n\nFamiliarity and ability to communicate value and competitive advantages\n\nTransPerfect values equal opportunities.
