This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. In addition, the Network Engineer will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nStrategy & Planning\nCollaborate with department heads to assess near- and long-term network capacity needs.\nCreate and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.\nDevelop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.\nAcquisition & Deployment\nDesign and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including routers, hubs, switches, firewalls, UPSs, and other hardware.\nConduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry.\nOversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.\nInteract and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.\nOperational Management\nConfigure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling objectives and processes.\nMonitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.\nEnsure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances.\nPractice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.\nMonitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.\nParticipate in managing all network security solutions.\nRequirements\nPOSITION REQUIREMENT (Knowledge & Experience):\nProven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation.\nProven experience with Cisco ASA and Firepower firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches, Juniper switches, Cisco AIR and Catalyst Wifi.\nProven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.\nProven experience with VOIP phone systems.\nExcellent hardware troubleshooting experience.\nCompetence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits.\nGood understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.\nKnowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.\nStrong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.\nAble to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.\nAbility to present ideas in user-friendly language.\nHighly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.\nProven analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nAble to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.\nStrong customer service orientation.\nExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.\nREQUIRED EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATION:\nThe Network Engineer will have a bachelor’s degree or, an associate’s degree with 4 years of related experience, or 6 years related experience","description_format":"text","description_chars":3468,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":6,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Design & Creative","Sales & Marketing"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-01T13:48:31Z"}],"liveness":{"score":5,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.19,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":324,"expected_fill_days":24,"reasons":["conf:7","win:tail","crowd:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-01T20:58:22Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/transperfect-games-network-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/transperfect-games-network-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-01T20:58:22Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":3393,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":1607,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z"}}}
