Our software and service solutions deliver value to law firms, in-house legal teams at major corporations, government agencies and insurers across Australia and our 100+ global offices.\nTransPerfect Legal is the legal technology arm of TransPerfect - this opportunity is based in our Sydney office.\nPosition Overview\nThe Technical eDiscovery Project Manager will provide high-level technical Hosting support to Antitrust Practice Group (APG) Project Management Teams globally. Manage electronic discovery solutions for the culling, processing, hosting, and conversion of electronically stored information (ESI) for end clients consisting mainly of law firms and Fortune 500 companies.\nPosition Description\nCommunicate with Project Management Teams and clients in order to effectively execute tasks throughout the life cycle of a case.\n\nManage high-level tasks and unique workflows.\n\nTroubleshoot technical issues; both internally and externally.\n\nHandle multiple projects and jobs to ensure deadlines are met.\n\nEnsure smooth transition of work between day and evening shifts.\n\nDevelop and utilise strong analytical skills to research potential solutions and determine appropriate courses of action.\n\nEnsure jobs are completed according to client and industry standards and that job specifications and deadlines are adhered to.\n\nPerform other tech-based special projects or duties as required.\n\nWork with Relativity and Reef Review to execute document productions, including bates stamping, creating load files, modifying load files and performing OCR.\n\nCreate custom event handlers and Relativity Scripts to improve workflow.\n\nRequired Experience and Qualifications\nBachelor’s or JD Degree or relevant experience\n\nAt least 7 years of eDiscovery and technical experience required; vendor preferred\n\nAt least 5 years of management experience\n\nRequired Skills\n2-3 years’ experience in litigation technology/vendor side preferred.\n\nBachelor’s Degree in related field, such as computer sciences or information management-technology, or equivalent work experience with a strong technical background.\n\nRCA Certification.\n\nExperience with Analytics.\n\nExperience in MS Office applications.\n\nProficient with Concordance and Summation.\n\nAbility to convey technical processes and terminology into easy to understand language.\n\nStrong organisational skills.\n\nExcellent customer service skills.\n\nStrong written and oral communication skills.\n\nAvailable to work overtime, including evenings and weekends as needed.\n\nAvailable by phone or email when out of the office as needed.\n\nAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.\n\nPositive attitude and ability to develop and implement new ideas to create customised solutions on a client by client basis.\n\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nKnowledge of SQL and/or Visual Basic.\n\nExperience with LAW PreDiscovery or IPRO is a major plus.\n\nAPPLY NOW!\nBy applying, I confirm I have read and accept TransPerfect's Privacy Policy: https://www.transperfect.com/about/data-privacy-recruiting\nTransPerfect provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of their race, colour, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local law.\nWe celebrate diversity as one of our core values and we have a clear goal: to be an inclusive workplace where a diverse mix of talented people want to come, stay and do their best work.
