Working closely with clients, Sales teams, Solution Consultants, and DSA analysts, you will translate complex business challenges into impactful analytical solutions that drive measurable client value and revenue growth.\n\nThis is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.\nRole Overview And Core Responsibilities\nLead end-to-end execution of analytics consulting engagements, including:\no Requirements gathering and business problem definition\no Analytical design and solution development\no Data extraction, transformation, and quality assurance\no Statistical analysis, modeling, and benchmarking\no Insight development and client presentation\nDeliver analytics consulting products such as:\no Custom scorecard and model development\no Market trends and benchmarking studies\no Innovation Lab engagements\no Retained analytics programs\no Custom aggregate data solutions\no Reject inference and lost sales analyses\no Other custom analytical engagements aligned to client needs\n Serve as the primary DSA lead for opportunities initiated through the established sales and engagement process.\nSupport proposal development, discovery activities, and analytics requirements definition in partnership with Sales and Solution Consultants.\nCollaborate with DSA analysts to ensure scalable, high-quality delivery while providing technical guidance and oversight.\nTranslate analytical findings into clear, client-relevant recommendations and revenue-oriented business outcomes.\nPartner with Sales and Solution Consultants to identify new analytics opportunities and expand client adoption of analytics consulting services.\nApply advanced analytical techniques including:\no Segmentation and portfolio analytics\no Predictive modeling\no Statistical analysis\no Scenario development and simulation\no Advanced machine learning methodologies\nDevelop and maintain project plans to ensure engagements are completed on time, within scope, and aligned to client expectations.\n Present analytical findings and recommendations to clients, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.\n Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, governance, privacy, and model risk management requirements.\nContribute to the evolution of the analytics consulting function by helping define scalable engagement models, delivery best practices, and new analytics offerings.\n Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.\nRequired Knowledge And Experiences\nBachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Data Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.\nMaster's degree or PhD is preferred.\nStrong understanding of Canadian consumer lending, credit risk management, and business intelligence practices.\n8+ years of analytics experience within financial services, risk management, or related industries.\n5+ years of experience leading client-facing analytics engagements and delivering business-focused analytical solutions.\n3+ years of direct experience working with credit bureau data, products, and analytics solutions. Prior experience with TransUnion data assets, products, or services is highly preferred.\nBilingual (English/French) communication skills strongly preferred to support client engagements across Canada.\nAdvanced analytical and programming capabilities using R, SAS, SQL, Python, and big data technologies such as Hive, Spark, Hadoop, or cloud-based platforms.\nExperience developing and validating predictive models, including logistic regression, decision trees, XGBoost, and other statistical or machine learning techniques.\nProven ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business insights and executive-level recommendations.\nExperience working with credit bureau data, custom analytics solutions, benchmarking studies, model development, and strategic business intelligence initiatives.\nExperience guiding analysts and supporting scalable delivery models through collaboration and mentorship.\nSelf-motivated, adaptable, and capable of leading engagements with minimal supervision.\nStrong project management and consulting skills.\nResults-oriented with a focus on client outcomes and revenue impact.\nAbility to balance hands-on analytical execution with strategic consulting responsibilities.\nDemonstrated ability to identify emerging client needs and shape innovative analytics use cases.\nExperience working with credit bureau data, custom analytics solutions, benchmarking studies, model development, and strategic business intelligence initiatives.\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent client engagements while maintaining high-quality deliverables and stakeholder satisfaction.\nExcellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present analytical findings to executives, business leaders, and technical audiences.\nStrong stakeholder management skills across clients, Sales, Solution Consultants, Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Technology teams.\nAbility to effectively communicate complex technical concepts in clear, business-oriented language.\nThis job posting is for an existing vacancy.
