This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to a data-driven organization.\n\nThis is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop, test, and deploy robust and scalable data pipelines using technologies such as Spark, Scala, and Python. \nWrite efficient and maintainable code in Scala, and Python. \nDesign and implement data models and SQL queries for efficient data access and analysis. \nWork within a cloud-based environment GCP to build and deploy data solutions. \nContribute to the development and maintenance of data infrastructure. \nParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. \nCollaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. \nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and applications. \nContribute to documentation of data pipelines and system architecture. \nStay up-to-date with the latest Big Data technologies and trends. \nRequired Knowledge And Experiences\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. \nMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in SQL and UNIX operating system. \nHands-on experience with Spark and Scala. \nExperience in Python programming. \nSolid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts. \nExperience working in a Cloud environment GCP. \nExperience with Unix/Linux environments. \nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills. \nStrong communication and collaboration skills. \nAbility to work independently and as part of a team. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with data warehousing concepts and technologies. \nExperience with data visualization tools. \nFamiliarity with agile development methodologies. \nCertifications in GCP cloud platforms. \nTransUnion Overview:\nAt TransUnion, we encourage and are committed to creating a real, positive impact and shared sense of purpose within our Workforce for Good, which empowers our people to grow, innovate and contribute to a better future for our communities and customers.
