You do not need previous experience with decisioning software. We welcome relevant experience gained through education, coursework, bootcamps, placements, apprenticeships, personal projects, or employment. You will receive support to develop your knowledge of decisioning technology, credit risk, testing, and client solution delivery.\nSupport the design, configuration, testing, and delivery of decisioning software solutions for financial services clients.\nLearn how to translate business requirements and solution designs into clear rules, workflows, and software configurations.\nUse credit bureau and client data to support credit risk and lending solutions.\nComplete testing and data validation checks to confirm that solutions are configured correctly and perform as expected.\nHelp investigate software issues and defects, identify possible causes, and work with colleagues to resolve them.\nCreate and maintain clear business, functional, and technical documentation.\nWork with technical colleagues, project teams, clients, and third-party partners to support project delivery.\nProvide progress updates, ask questions, and contribute ideas throughout the project lifecycle.\nSupport solution implementation, change requests, issue resolution, and post-production activities.\nRequired Knowledge And Experiences\nAn interest in technology, data, software configuration, and solving business problems.\nExamples of using logical thinking to analyse a problem, investigate an issue, or develop a practical solution.\nAbility to understand instructions or requirements and break them down into clear steps.\nClear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to ask questions and work collaboratively.\nA degree, diploma, apprenticeship, bootcamp, or relevant coursework in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data, Mathematics, Science, Business, or a related subject, or equivalent practical experience.\nA willingness to learn decisioning technology, credit risk concepts, software testing, and client solution delivery.\nRequired Technical Skills\nBasic programming or scripting knowledge in at least one language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, or Lua.\nBasic understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL), databases, spreadsheets, or another method used to query, interpret, and validate data.\nExperience applying logical rules, conditions, workflows, or step-by-step processes to solve a technical problem.\nConfidence using Microsoft Excel and Word to review information and produce clear documentation.\nWe're also looking for the preferred skills below.
