Participants will contribute to initiatives focused on Data, Software Development, Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Information Management, and DevOps, while gaining exposure to TransUnion’s culture, processes, and technology environment.The internship program is coordinated by the Human Resources function and supported by Technology leaders and mentors. Interns will report administratively to the Program Coordinator and functionally to the assigned mentor within the respective technology team.\n\nThis is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.\nRole Overview And Core Responsibilities\nThe Technology Intern role exists to support innovation, process improvement, and technology initiatives while providing students with practical experience aligned with their academic requirements.\nThe intern will:\nParticipate in the execution of an assigned technology project and contribute to project deliverables.\nWork closely with an assigned mentor to define objectives, milestones, and expected outcomes.\nApply academic knowledge to solve business and technical challenges.\nAttend project follow-up meetings and provide regular updates on progress and achievements.\nDocument project findings, recommendations, technical designs, and final outcomes.\nConduct research and analysis related to technologies, tools, methodologies, or business requirements associated with the project.\nCollaborate with team members and stakeholders while maintaining professional communication standards.\nFollow established security, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.\nComplete the required practice hours established by the university while meeting project expectations.\nDeliver a final presentation and report summarizing project objectives, development process, results, and recommendations.\nRequired Knowledge And Experiences\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.\nMust be completing a professional internship, graduation project, supervised practice, or academic requirement established by a recognized university.\nBasic understanding of software development lifecycle, data analysis, automation, cloud technologies, or artificial intelligence concepts, depending on the assigned project.\nAcademic experience completing individual or group technology-related projects and delivering documented results.\nAbility to analyze problems, identify potential solutions, and communicate findings effectively.\nRequired Technical Skills\nBasic knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) and relational database concepts.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.\nUnderstanding of software development concepts, data structures, or technology project methodologies.\nBasic experience using collaboration and productivity platforms such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.\nAbility to learn and use TransUnion technology platforms and tools required for the assigned project.\nWe’re also looking for the preferred skills below.
