The position will also support cross-functional collaboration, architectural decision-making, and delivery of strategic business initiatives across the application portfolio.\n\nThis job is assigned as On-Site Essential and requires in- person work at an assigned TU office location as a condition of employment.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities\nCore Roles & Responsibilities\nServe as the primary technical expert for the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, integrations, and related applications.\nProvide technical leadership and guidance to Salesforce developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.\nDesign, review, and approve scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business and enterprise architecture requirements.\nLead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce enhancements, integrations, and platform modernization initiatives.\nDrive platform governance, release management, and deployment processes to ensure system stability and reliability.\nOwn the identification, prioritization, and remediation of Salesforce security vulnerabilities and technical risks identified through Obsidian and other security assessment tools.\nPartner with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, and Compliance teams to ensure Salesforce solutions meet security, regulatory, and data governance requirements.\nMonitor platform performance, troubleshoot complex production issues, and implement proactive improvements to enhance system availability.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into sustainable technical solutions and roadmaps.\nMentor and upskill development team members through code reviews, technical coaching, and knowledge sharing.\nManage technical debt reduction initiatives and drive continuous improvement across the Salesforce ecosystem.\nEvaluate emerging Salesforce capabilities and recommend innovations that improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.\nRequired Knowledge And Experiences\nRequired Knowledge & Experience\n8-12 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, administration, and solution architecture.\nStrong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning Experience, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.\nProven experience designing and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions in large enterprise environments.\nExtensive knowledge of Salesforce security model, including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, role hierarchy, and security best practices.\nExperience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and external systems.\nStrong understanding of Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD processes, release management, and deployment tools.\nExperience leading technical teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring Salesforce developers.\nDemonstrated experience identifying and remediating platform vulnerabilities, technical debt, and security findings from security assessment tools such as Obsidian.\nWorking knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise application lifecycle management.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.\nSalesforce certifications preferred, such as Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect, System Architect, or similar credentials.\nExperience collaborating with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to corporate governance and security standards.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Salesforce Shield, Security Center, and advanced platform security controls.\nKnowledge of Workday or other enterprise SaaS platforms is an advantage.\nExperience in regulated, highly governed enterprise environments supporting critical business operations.\nTransUnion Overview:\nAt TransUnion, we encourage and are committed to creating a real, positive impact and shared sense of purpose within our Workforce for Good, which empowers our people to grow, innovate and contribute to a better future for our communities and customers.
