The Senior Consultant, Risk Management will also be responsible for identifying and assessing risks to our organization and driving the implementation of remediation plans to avoid, reduce or transfer risk.\nIn this fast-paced role the Senior Consultant, Risk Management will work with our wider risk & regulatory teams, engaging with stakeholders to drive development and improvement of risk management and culture, in alignment with our business strategy and risk appetite.\n\nThis is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.\nRole Overview And Core Responsibilities\nCreate, document and implement the Risk Management Framework, processes and procedures across TransUnion Hong Kong.\n\nUndertake reviews of risk themes, regulatory topics, processes, projects or business activities to identify potential risks and issues\n\nPrepare papers, reports and dashboards for risk governance committees\n\nWork with business stakeholders to find solutions and ensure material risks and issues are appropriately addressed\n\nSupport regulatory interactions and assist in the preparation of high-quality documents to share with Board of Directors.\n\nSupport ongoing development and embedding of the Risk Management Framework\n\nWork in collaboration with Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, Data Governance and 1st Line Risk Teams to provide the Boards and other stakeholders with assurance over TransUnion’s material risk exposures\n\nBuild and foster relationships with and become a trusted business partner of senior leaders of the organization\n\nDirect, identify and solve complex, operational and organizational problems leveraging the direct and indirect resources\n\nProvide proactive, accurate, expert and specialist risk management advice to all business units and divisions within TransUnion\n\nNegotiate with senior leaders across the business\n\nThis position will report to Head of Risk and Compliance APAC.\n\nRequired Knowledge And Experiences\nBachelor’s Degree or higher in business, risk management or related field.\n\n5 plus years of experience in risk management within a credit/financial environment or highly regulated industry.\n\nKnowledge of the Hong Kong credit industry.\n\nProven experience in developing and implementing processes and procedures.\n\nStrong stakeholder management, verbal and written communication skills.\n\nAbility to write formal policies and procedures as well as routine reports and correspondence.\n\nStrong logical, problem solving, decision making and influencing abilities.\n\nStrong understanding of enterprise risk management principles and techniques in highly regulated industry.\n\nConfidence in communicating (both written and verbal) with senior stakeholders.\n\nExperience preparing papers for, and presenting at, governance committees and boards.\n\nStrategic thinking/planning skills, ability to rapidly assess issues and associated risk and ability to make critical decisions in a fast paced environment are essential.\n\nAbility to read, interpret, and understand product and contract documents such as laws, business documents, system documents, company policies, and procedures.\n\nAbility to effectively collaborate with stakeholders on all levels of the organization and across multiple geographical locations.\n\nProven ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\n\nProficient in MS Office.\n\nTransUnion Overview:\nAt TransUnion, we encourage and are committed to creating a real, positive impact and shared sense of purpose within our Workforce for Good, which empowers our people to grow, innovate and contribute to a better future for our communities and customers.
