This role wil partner exclusively with the Strategy & Planning team delivering strategic change initiatives and M&A integrations\n\nThis is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities\nThe main purpose of the S&P Senior Project Manager is to plan, organise and lead multiple projects and programs of works delivering them to time, cost and quality tolerances within the TU project management framework; engage the relevant stakeholders and project resources, ensure accurate reporting, and manage risks, issues and dependencies.\nProjects may cover multiple international regions and include global projects and deployments across the TU enterprise. Specifically leading M&A Integration activities\nThey provide guidance and direction to all their team members, providing support and cover when required. The role works closely with executive and senior management teams and represents the Program of work in reviews with TU Leadership.\nCore Duties / Responsibilities:\n· Work closely with sponsors, 3rd parties, suppliers, internal stakeholders, the wider business and operational teams to understand their requirements, developing effective working relationships and on-going management processes for the projects and service delivery.\n· Be seen as the leader of the Program, representing the best interests of the Sponsor at various governance and prioritization meetings.\n· Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the program or project.\n· Manage, monitor, and motivate the cross functional international teams assigned to the project/program.\n· Creation and management of plans, resource schedules and financial reports; with a focus on creating realistic schedules.\n· Prepare project communications to keep stakeholders up to date with progress.\n· Evaluate risks and develop strategies to overcome project obstacles.\n· Identify and implement appropriate quality standards to ensure project quality.\n· Ensure the project knowledgebase is captured, current and stored appropriately.\n· Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.\n· Manage requests for change, ensuring that implications on timelines, cost and scope are clearly articulated.\n· Ensure post-project reviews take place and feedback loop followed.\n· Follow the TU delivery governance framework, taking into consideration any data, regulatory and compliance considerations.\nRequired Knowledge And Experiences\nRequirements/Skills/Qualifications:\nKey Skills:\n· Excellent Project Management skills\n· Excellent Change Management skills\n· Strong organisational and time management skills\n· Ability to lead and develop cross-functional matrix teams\n· Ability to develop and lead process improvements.\n· Excellent communication skills\n· Exccellent presentation skills\n· Ability to challenge and propose alternatives.\n· Methodical, thorough, and diligent\n· Risk identifier and manager\n· Excellent documentation skills\n· Results driven; forward thinking with a problem-solving mentality.\nThe role the Senior Project Manager is one that:\n· Manages multiple worksrreams across a Program of work to achieve desired business outcomes.\n· Balances the expectations of stakeholders (customers) and members of the project team.\n· Defines program/project objectives, interdependencies and critical milestones.\n· Has the ability to translate strategic outcomes into concrete project deliverables\n· Arranges unclear facts into logical patterns and concepts.\n· Recognises and expresses related concepts or potential outcomes of a decision, situation, or issue.\n· Ensures that Programs are completed on time and within budget tolerances.\n· Creates and negotiate win/win solutions that generate positive results individually and through others.\n· Drives the sharing of information, solutions, and best practices with others across enterprise boundaries.\nEssential Qualifications:\nDegree level or equivalent experience\nProgram/Project Management qualification such as APM, PMI, MSP, Prince2\nDesirable Qualifications:\nChange Management\nManagement of Risk\nBPR/Lean/SixSigma methodologies\nEssential Experience:\nMinimum 10 years project management experience including significant Program Management experience\nProven ability to deliver significant organisational and change, ideally across international regions\nDeep knowledge of Project and Program methodologies\nExperience in Mergers and Acquisitions process and integrations\n· Must be comfortable analyzing data, with strong problem solving and business acumen.
