The team develops enterprise security standards, manages risk and resilience programs, and partners across the business to support safe and uninterrupted operations.This role reports to the Vice President, Global Security.\n\nThis is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.\nRole Overview and Core Responsibilities\nLead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of enterprise-wide global security programs, including travel risk, emergency preparedness, physical security, facility safety, event risk, personnel security, crisis management, and security awareness. \nBuild, operate, and continuously enhance the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), establishing clear operating procedures, escalation protocols, service standards, and performance measures. \nOversee global physical security technology and life-safety capabilities, including access control, CCTV, visitor management, intrusion detection, and related building systems. \nDevelop and maintain global security policies, standards, controls, and reporting aligned with ISO 27001 physical security requirements, applicable regulations, and enterprise risk priorities. \nDirect security incident and emergency response, including footage review, investigations, executive protection, threat management, event security planning, and timely reporting to senior leadership. \nManage guard force and third-party security partners, including sourcing, contract governance, service performance, and procurements exceeding $1 million. \nDevelop and manage capital and operating budgets for global security programs, operations, personnel, and technology investments. \nPartner with Facilities, Procurement, Information Security, Human Resources, Business Continuity, Legal, and regional leaders to assess risk and implement practical security solutions. \nLead and develop a high-performing global security team while promoting collaboration, accountability, and an inclusive workplace. \nTravel domestically and internationally up to 25% and provide leadership support during security incidents, which may occasionally require evenings, weekends, or holidays. \nRequired Knowledge and Experiences\nMinimum of 20 years of progressive corporate security experience, including senior leadership of enterprise-wide global security programs in a complex multinational organization.\nDemonstrated expertise across crisis management, executive protection, investigations, guard force management, physical and event security, threat management, and global intelligence. \nProven ability to advise senior executives, operate autonomously under pressure, and build effective partnerships across regions and functions. \nExperience leading small to mid-sized teams and managing capital and operating budgets, global vendors, and complex service procurements. \nEligibility to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance\nRequired Technical Skills\nHands-on experience with enterprise access control, CCTV (closed-circuit television), visitor management, intrusion detection, and building life-safety systems. \nRecent experience building, operating, and leading a GSOC (Global Security Operations Center), including incident monitoring, intelligence, escalation, and response protocols. \nWorking knowledge of ISO 27001 physical security requirements and experience translating requirements into policies, controls, and operating practices. \nWe're also looking for the preferred skills below.
