This role reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Software Development.\n\nThis is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack software solutions that support TransUnion's Digital Business Profile products and business data platforms.\n\nPartner with Product teams to understand, refine, and negotiate functional requirements, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.\n\nLead the design and delivery of medium to large-scale features throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from concept through production deployment.\n\nDevelop high-quality software using C#, .NET technologies, Angular, APIs, and cloud platforms while adhering to established engineering standards and best practices.\n\nCollaborate within an Agile Scrum environment, actively participating in sprint planning, design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nProvide technical leadership on projects by guiding design decisions, mentoring team members, and driving implementation strategies across cross-functional teams.\n\nWork closely with QA teams to support testing efforts and create technical documentation required for successful product validation and release.\n\nSupport production systems by troubleshooting complex technical issues and partnering with Operations and Customer Delivery teams to ensure platform stability and performance.\n\nParticipate in an on-call rotation approximately one week per month to support critical production incidents and maintain service reliability.\n\nBuild strong partnerships with globally distributed teams and communicate effectively with developers, architects, and productmanagers.\n\nRequired Knowledge And Experiences\n5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, including designing and delivering enterprise-grade web applications, back-end services, Apisfrom concept through deployment.\n\nExperience with being hands-on for design and development and independently translating business needs into scalable software solutions.\n\nStrong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, debugging practices, and modern software development lifecycle methodologies.\n\nExperience working in Agile development environments and collaborating effectively withteamthroughiterative product delivery.\n\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\n\nThis role is a 100% hands-on role and requires leadership through technical skill, solving problems and mentorship to junior team members.\n\nRequired Technical Skills\nAdvanced experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, Web API, MVC, and Web Forms.\n\nExperience working with huge datasets and data driven architecture.\n\nExperience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs in enterprise environments.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) and/or GCP (Google Cloud Platform), supporting modernization initiatives and scalable application architectures.\n\nStrong proficiency with Visual Studio and Windows-based development environments, including source control and collaborative development practices.\n\nWe’re also looking for the preferred skills below.
