As a Graphic Designer for our Mid-Atlantic Marketing and Communications team, you will be responsible for creating high-end print, digital, and environmental collateral. You will be part of an innovative and team-oriented environment. Your expertise in marketing and graphic design will shape our client's narratives, ensuring consistency and originality within each brand while ensuring distinctiveness across different projects and clients. Outstanding candidates will exhibit a passion for: design of all kinds; being a team player, excellent communicator, and strategic thinker; and having a growth mindset.\nPOSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nIn collaboration with the Regional Marketing Director, you will develop design strategies and conceptualize, plan, design, and produce a broad array of marketing materials. These include brochures, email blast campaigns, large-scale graphics, comprehensive brand packages, and promotional campaigns for events and marketing, as well as merchandise. This role supports internal and external clients, along with executive leadership.\n\nCraft compelling design narratives and concepts that showcase varied clients’ goals and projects.\n\nWork with Creative Director to design elevated concepts, templates, and finished work that creates efficiencies for the team and continually showcase design excellence, elevating the work of the entire team and region\n\nCoordinate the production process, develop and coordinate printing specifications and oversee in- or out-of-house production.\n\nCollaborate closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver projects that exceed expectations and adhere to timelines.\n\nOffer creative solutions and out-of-the-box thinking to elevate projects and inspire clients.\n\nTake initiative in project participation, ideation, and continuous learning to stay ahead of design trends.\n\nEfficiently tackle any additional design opportunities assigned by regional marketing and creative directors.\n\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, or similar.\n\nA minimum of 3+ years’ of experience in a Graphic Design role\n\nAdvanced proficiency/technical excellence with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat is required.\n\nMS Office Suite experience required.\n\nWorking knowledge of HTML5 and basic web design is required\n\nMotion graphics and/or photography experience is a plus.\n\nExperience using project collaboration and management tools including Miro and Monday.com is a plus\n\nDeep understanding of typography, layout design, and color theory, and an interest in the ever-evolving state of design and technology\n\nExceptional critical thinking, organization, and time management skills.\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.\n\nAbility to give and receive honest and thoughtful feedback, possessing an open, positive, and collaborative communication style with a solution-oriented approach.\n\nA passion for design thinking, brand building and storytelling and a strong understanding of how to maintain and evolve design systems.\n\nSelf-motivated, strong work ethic with excellent communication (verbal, written, visual), problem-solving skills and ability to propose ideas\n\nA meticulous eye for detail, a passion for pushing creative boundaries while being an active, empathetic listener able to interpret client goals, and incorporate critical feedback from multiple client-partners.\n\nMotivated by challenges and interested in professional growth.\n\nIn-office position in Bethesda, Maryland.\n\nPortfolio Required\nCandidates must possess a compelling portfolio of print, digital, and or environmental/large scale design work that demonstrates experience leading small and large-scale projects, a range of aesthetics, and client-focused solutions to marketing challenges.
