At TransWest we believe our people are the key to making us successful on a daily basis, so we want to invest in you!\nCompensation:\nFixed wage: $25.00 per hour \nBenefits:\nMedical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance \n401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match \nPaid Time Off (PTO) accrues in accordance with company policy and may be used for vacation, personal, or sick time. Team Members are eligible to accrue up to 80 hours (10 days) of PTO annually, with increased accrual opportunities based on years of service. \nOne paid personal day annually. 8 hours for full-time Team Members and 4 hours for part-time Team Members. \nSeven Company-Observed Holidays. Full-time non-exempt Team Members receive eight hours of holiday pay and part-time non-exempt Team Members receive four hours of holiday pay for eligible holidays. \nAdditional Compensation:\n$5,000 sign on bonus for full time (30+ hours) \nQuarterly Safety Performance Bonus opportunity for Team Members who meet established safety program requirements \nPerks:\nPaid DOT medical card and physicals \nPaid training to receive Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement for qualified Team Members \nResponsibilities:\nTransport business clients to and from scheduled routes safely and reliably. \nConduct daily vehicle safety checks on assigned vehicles and report any defects in a timely manner; complete all required operations documentation fully and accurately daily. \nCreate a welcoming environment and deliver seamless experience for corporate commuters. \nMust be professional and safety minded. \nPerform DOT daily inspections on assigned equipment and fuel equipment as necessary. \nProvide excellent customer service in every interaction. \nMaintain vehicle cleanliness. \nOther duties as assigned. \nRequirements:\nMust be at least 21 years of age\nAcceptable Motor Vehicle Record \nMust pass pre-employment DOT drug test \nAble to communicate proficiently in English \nAble to work independently, yet be able to take direction \nEmployment contingent on background check\nCurrent/Active DOT Medical Card (Can be obtained during hiring process) \nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to remain seated and operate a vehicle for extended periods.\nAbility to enter and exit vehicles, including vehicles with stairs, multiple times throughout the shift.\nAbility to perform routine vehicle inspections, which may involve bending, reaching, or kneeling.\nAbility to lift, move, or position items weighing up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to communicate clearly with passengers, dispatch, and team members.\nAbility to maintain focus and alertness while driving in various weather, lighting, and traffic conditions.\nAbility to perform the essential driving functions required to operate the assigned vehicle safely and in compliance with DOT and company standards.\nPaid CDL Training: TransWest offers current team members paid training to get their Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement or add a Passenger Endorsement to a current CDL license, so that you can grow your career as a bus driver.
