We do not offer relocation assistance for this role.\nWe're looking for a Bartender who is personable, knowledgeable, and responsible.\nYou're someone who makes great drinks and keeps the bar a welcoming place to be. You thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and can balance speed and accuracy while following all alcohol service laws.\nYou're comfortable building rapport with guests at the bar and working closely with servers, hosts, and managers to keep front-of-house running smoothly. You enjoy crafting drinks, recommending pairings, and creating an atmosphere guests want to come back to.\nIf you're looking for a role where you can showcase your bar skills and grow with an expanding, multi-state restaurant group, we'd love to meet you.\nWhat You'll Do\nPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and guest preferences.\nProvide excellent guest service by fostering a friendly, professional, and welcoming atmosphere at the bar.\nCheck identification and follow all state, local, and company guidelines for responsible alcohol service and guest safety.\nGuide guests through the drink and food menu, including recommendations and pairings.\nHandle cash, credit card, and POS transactions accurately and follow all cash-handling procedures.\nRestock, rotate, and maintain bar inventory, ensuring accuracy and freshness of products.\nPrepare garnishes and bar mixes and keep the bar well stocked throughout service.\nMaintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar and surrounding areas.\nCommunicate clearly with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to support smooth service.\nComplete opening, running, and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and side work.\nSupport fellow team members to keep front-of-house operations running smoothly.\nUphold Trapper's Sushi's TRAPCHK core values: Teamwork, Respect, Accountability, Passion, Communication, Honesty, and Kindness.\nPerform other related duties and support business needs as assigned.\nWhat's In It for You\nCompensation: $21.65 per hour + tips.\nMedical insurance: coverage begins the first of the month following two consecutive months of full-time employment. Trapper's covers 80% of the premium for employee-only coverage on the PPO 1000 plan.\nDailyPay access, allowing eligible employees to access earned wages before payday.\n401(k) retirement plan, eligible after one year of continuous employment (subject to plan terms).\nVoluntary dental and vision coverage.\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP).\nPaid sick leave in accordance with Washington state and local laws.\nA complimentary meal while on shift, plus a 25% dining discount off duty that extends to your immediate family.\nOpportunities to grow within an expanding, multi-state restaurant group.\nA supportive, collaborative, and people-first culture where your contributions matter.\nRequirements\nWhat You Bring\nPrevious bartending or related experience preferred.\nStrong knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and bar equipment.\nAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\nValid Washington State MAST permit (Class 12) required prior to your first day of work.\nWashington State Food Worker Card required, or must be obtained within 14 days of beginning work.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.\nThe Physical Stuff\nRestaurant-based work environment behind a busy bar.\nAbility to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without assistance.\nConstant in-person interaction with guests and team members.\nExposure to alcohol, cleaning chemicals, hot and cold surfaces, wet floors, and moderate noise levels.\nUse of required PPE, including non-slip footwear.\nAbility to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nCompliance and Equal Opportunity\nThis position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and applicable state law.
