The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.\nSalary Range\n$94,400.00 - $155,800.00Target Openings\n1What Is the Opportunity?\nThis position is the primary point of accountability to Business partners and other parties for the management and implementation of small to medium sized Projects and/or small Programs that support achievement of simple to moderately complex unit or corporate goals.This role is distinctly a business-side project management role, not a technology or IT delivery role. The position is responsible for driving business readiness, stakeholder alignment, and adoption of outcomes that directly support SC strategic objectives and goals.\nWhat Will You Do?\nThe Project Manager controls planning and execution of the Projects activities and resources to ensure that established cost, time, and quality goals are met.\nThe Project Manager works with moderate supervision and is responsible for applying Project Management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to Project deliverables, processes, and systems in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations.\nThe Project Manager operates within defined parameters using a proven Project Management Methodology with flexibility to merge different methodologies in accomplishing collective goals.\nManages team development, actively mentors members of the PM community.\nWorks closely with the Strategy, Planning, and Execution (SP&E) team and Small Commercial teams to outline strategic opportunities and partner on related project/communication plans.\nDrives initiative shaping and roadmap development for assigned project/programs to ensure the work to achieve the business outcomes is effectively grouped and sequenced, and timing, sizing, relationships and dependencies are understood.\nPerform other duties as assigned. \nWhat Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?\nBachelor's degree in a related field.\n5 years of project management experience.\nExperience managing others and/or project teams.\nWhat is a Must Have?\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\n2 years of project management experience.\nWhat Is in It for You?\nHealth Insurance: Employees and their eligible family members - including spouses, domestic partners, and children - are eligible for coverage from the first day of employment.\n Retirement: Travelers matches your 401(k) contributions dollar-for-dollar up to your first 5% of eligible pay, subject to an annual maximum.
