InsuraMatch is seeking a versatile Senior Associate Software Engineer to support a variety of applications, systems, and platforms that provide acquisition targeting, retention modeling projects, predictive analytics, call routing, data architecture, and in-depth data analyses. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the growth of this business and work closely with the team and leadership to drive profit and customer growth.What Will You Do?\nUnder general supervision, this role will actively participate as a member of the InsuraMatch team in collaborating, conceiving and developing scalable, performant, secure solutions.\nPerform basic analysis, development, testing, debugging, configuration, incident investigation, documentation, health monitoring/alerting, and implementing based on and related to user or system design specifications.\nSupport and contribute to the improvement of the development process\nProvide tier one support for cloud and physical networks, servers, operating systems, and processes\nWorth within the guidelines set by the team to monitor, manage, and administer Serverless, Linux, and Window computer platforms\nSupport critical aspects of our technology operations in areas including Production, deployment process automation, monitoring, and security\nEnsure alignment between security architecture frameworks, standards, and overall IT cloud strategy\nCreate and maintain build scripts, templates and other artifacts for the Infrastructure stack\nSupport the migration of applications to the cloud infrastructure and assist in the analysis, tuning, and re-architecture when necessary to ensure adherence to business requirements\nSeek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities.\nPerform other duties as assigned. \nWhat Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?\nFamiliar with cloud computing services from companies such as Amazon (AWS), Google (GCP), and Microsoft (Azure).\nSystem administration experience in UNIX/Linux and Windows environments.\nKnowledge with MySQL relational databases.\nExperience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.\nKnowledge of information security best practices.\nDevelopment skills in some of the following: React. Angular, Node.js., Typescript, etc. \nKnowledge of MySQL and SQL query and schema design.\nKnowledge of agile development working model - Jira, Confluence, Git.\nKnowledge of test-driven development and/or behavior-driven development.\nKnowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous improvement.\nKnowledge with Chef, Puppet, and/or other automated deployment methodologies.\nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals, including security and systems design.\nDetail orientation - attention and desire to work on large data \"crunching\" projects.\nStrong written and oral communication skills and a proven ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nCreative thinker with the ability to synthesize information from various sources and apply that information to concrete business problems.\nUnderstanding of implementing and operating IT infrastructure (e.g., servers, networks, storage).
