The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.\nSalary Range\n$46,600.00 - $76,800.00Target Openings\n10What Is the Opportunity?\nProvide internal and external support to customers. Provides customer policy/account support by processing a variety of transactions in a high volume service center. Demonstrates proficiency in understanding of Travelers products, procedures and processing techniques.Start Date: December 7, 2026\nWork Arrangement: Travelers offers a hybrid work location model that is designed to support flexibility and balance (3 days in office, 2 days working from primary residence).\nTraining: Provided between 8:00 and 5:00 ET. PTO will be limited during the training period.\nWhat Will You Do?\nProcesses incoming requests for variety of policy changes and/or handling routine policy reviews in applicable system(s).\nResponsible for Policy Quoting and Issuance.\nMay be responsible for handling compliance transactions\nWorks directly with internal and external customers to gather required information to handle service requests\nMay require underwriting authority to complete specific transactions.\nDemonstrates proficiency understanding of Travelers products, along with various insurance transaction procedures.\nAddresses questions regarding aspects of a policy within their authority.\nIdentifies, where applicable, potential underwriting risks and refers and provides solutions to the correct department.\nEnsures effective and appropriate communication with all effected internal/external parties resulting from change in customer account.\nAssists in special work assignments as identified.\nActs as a customer support.\nPerform other duties as assigned. \nWhat Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?\nPrefer two or more years of work experience in a customer service, operations, or insurance industry.\nAssociates Degree or higher.\nDemonstrated resiliency in high-volume environments and stressful situations.\nDemonstrated ability to communicate both written and verbally clearly in a multitude of channels (phone, emails, etc…).\nKnowledgeable in insurance products.\nAbility to multitask on various activities.\nStrong math abilities.\nAbility to provide problem solving and implement solutions.\nIdentify customer needs and takes appropriate action.\nBuild productive working relationships and is inclusive to all in the workplace.\nDrive towards achieving performance and expense management goals set by the department.\nPositively influences others.\nCan perform work duties independently.\nSuccessfully utilizes tools and resources.\nWhat is a Must Have?\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nOne year of work experience in a customer service, operations, or insurance industry.\nWhat Is in It for You?\nHealth Insurance: Employees and their eligible family members - including spouses, domestic partners, and children - are eligible for coverage from the first day of employment.\n Retirement: Travelers matches your 401(k) contributions dollar-for-dollar up to your first 5% of eligible pay, subject to an annual maximum.
