The successful candidate will perform routine analytical testing and sample preparation while working closely with laboratory management, researchers, engineers, and other technical staff.\nThis position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to consistently follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control requirements, and safe laboratory practices. Candidates should have a working understanding of fundamental chemistry concepts and laboratory calculations necessary to perform accurate chemical analysis.\nPreference will be given to candidates with previous experience in an inorganic analytical laboratory, particularly experience with analytical instrumentation, sample preparation, QC practices, and laboratory documentation. This is a full-time, onsite salaried position.\nKey Responsibilities\nSample preparation and testing, including weighing, dilutions, digestions/prep, routine instrument operation and analysis following training and qualification\n\nQuality and documentation activities, including: sample tracking, data entry, QC checks, and SOP compliance\n\nInstrumental analysis on inorganic samples including IC, ICP-OES, TIC/TOC, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, titration systems, and related laboratory instrumentation\n\nWet chemical analyses such as leaching, solvent extraction, ion exchange, gravimetric analyses, ISE analysis, and other established laboratory methods\n\nLaboratory cleanup, organization, and general housekeeping\n\nSupport inventory management for laboratory supplies and chemicals.\n\nRoutine instrument operation, cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting after training and qualification\n\nPreparation and verification of QC standards, reagents, and quality control samples.\n\nInitial data verification and reviews, including identification and escalation of unusual results or QC failures\n\nConstruct and support bench- and pilot-scale experimental systems as directed\n\nQualifications\nAssociate’s or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical technology, environmental science, or a related technical field or equivalent relevant laboratory experience\n\n1-3+ years of laboratory experience preferred, particularly in an analytical, inorganic, industrial or research laboratory\n\nWorking knowledge of basic chemistry concepts, laboratory calculations, weighing, dilutions, and solution preparation\n\nExperience following written SOPs and maintaining accurate laboratory documentation\n\nFamiliarity with analytical instrumentation and laboratory quality control practices preferred.\n\nProficiency with spreadsheets and databases and basic analytical data review\n\nAbility to safely handle chemicals and laboratory samples and work independently following training and qualification\n\nStrong attention to detail, organization, communication, and ability to manage multiple laboratory priorities\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nThis role is onsite and based in our Boulder, CO headquarters.\nSalary Range: $ 55,000 -
