The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, complete daily accounting tasks, facilitating audits, and improving finance processes.\nCore tasks and responsibilities\nOwn the month-end and year-end close, including general ledger oversight and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.\nPrepare the monthly consolidation and management reporting, including group reporting packs for Trip.com.\nPrepare the statutory financial statements for the local entities.\nServe as the main point of contact for local audits and support the group audit process, ensuring audits are completed on schedule.\nManage intercompany accounting and reconciliations across group entities.\nMaintain internal controls and accounting policies.\nSupport tax compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax and transfer pricing, together with external advisors.\nIdentify and implement finance process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nWhat you bring to the table\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field\n5 to 8 years of experience in a financial controller role or similar position.\nStrong knowledge of financial reporting standards and local audit processes.\nExcellent analytical skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.\nProficiency in financial software and systems\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders effectively.\nDemonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently, quickly taking action on tasks that require immediate attention.\nWhat you can expect from us\nEnjoy the flexibility and life balance of hybrid work where each team aligns on their minimum number of days in office to foster collaboration and meet the team's needs.\nPossibility to work up to 90 days from abroad (depending on your job function)\n31,5 days of paid leave, so plenty of time to enjoy your travels!\nFlat hierarchy where your voice can be heard, welcomed and appreciated at all levels in the organization - where people can thrive, be creative and ultimately build their own legacy within the company.\nA diverse and multicultural working environment.
