are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to support our client's payroll operations on a full-time basis.\nThe ideal candidate has hands-on experience processing Canadian payroll using Ceridian Dayforce, can work independently with minimal supervision, and can ensure accurate and timely payroll processing from day one.\nKey Responsibilities\nProcess end-to-end payroll for Canadian employees using Ceridian Dayforce.\nReview and validate employee time records, hours worked, overtime, and other payroll inputs.\nCalculate and process wages, deductions, statutory contributions, and other payroll adjustments in accordance with applicable Canadian payroll regulations.\nEnsure accurate and timely payroll processing in line with established schedules and deadlines.\nReview payroll data for discrepancies and resolve payroll-related issues promptly.\nRespond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and payroll discrepancies.\nEnsure compliance with applicable Canadian employment standards, payroll legislation, and tax requirements.\nCoordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to address payroll concerns and maintain smooth payroll operations.\nManage payroll responsibilities independently and ensure a seamless transition with minimal training.\nRequirements\nProven experience processing Canadian payroll.\nHands-on experience using Ceridian Dayforce to process payroll directly, not limited to timesheet entry or timekeeping functions.\nStrong understanding of Canadian payroll regulations, statutory deductions, and payroll compliance requirements.\nDemonstrated ability to manage payroll processes accurately and meet strict deadlines.\nHigh attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal supervision and training.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential employee and payroll
