Joining now means helping shape both our platform and its adoption by teams working at the frontier of AI.\nAs we continue to grow, we are looking for a Field Application Engineer to join our US team in the Bay Area and play a key role in driving the successful adoption of Treble’s SDK. This is a highly technical, customer-facing pre-sales role working closely with sales, product, and R&D.\nAbout the role:\nAs a Field Application Engineer\nat Treble, you will partner closely with our Application team to support prospects and customers throughout the evaluation and ultimate adoption of our platform. You will take ownership of the technical side of deals, from first deep-dive conversations through proof-of-concept work and successful onboarding.\nYou will work directly with technically sophisticated customers to understand their challenges and demonstrate how Treble’s SDK and simulation capabilities can deliver measurable improvements in their audio AI systems and audio device products. The role requires strong technical depth combined with a clear understanding of commercial goals.\nYou will also act as a critical feedback channel into product and R&D, ensuring that customer needs and market signals directly influence the evolution of Treble’s platform.\nYour tasks include:\nOwn the technical evaluation phase of enterprise deals, working closely with sales to drive successful outcomes\nDesign and deliver compelling technical demos, benchmarks, and proof-of-concept projects using the Treble SDK as a simulation platform\nEngage directly with customers at all levels such as:Work hands-on with prospects to solve complex problems in audio AI, spatial audio, and acoustic simulation\nHelp customers integrate Treble’s SDK into existing ML, signal processing, and production workflows\nAnswer advanced technical questions related to simulation accuracy, performance, scalability, and data quality\nTailoring technical discussions and demos for engineering managers and executives.\nSupport pricing discussions and value articulation by translating technical capabilities into customer impact\n\nCollaborate with product and R&D teams to translate customer feedback and objections into product improvements\nCreate reusable technical assets such as demos, example projects, documentation and reference workflows to support sales at scale\nSupport onboarding and training of newly signed customers\nRepresent Treble in technical meetings, workshops, and selected industry eventsExpected 20-30 travel days a year for on-site customer support and demoes as well as conferences and trade shows\n\nWhat we are looking for:\nStrong technical background in acoustics, simulation, audio signal processing and AI.\nHands-on experience with audio ML systems, spatial audio and multi-channel audio processing, audio hardware development\nSolid programming skills (Python), CAD skills\nAbility to combine deep technical problem solving with a commercial mindset\nComfortable leading technical discussions with senior engineers, researchers, and decision-makers\nClear communicator who enjoys explaining complex technical concepts and value propositions\nSelf-driven, hands-on mindset with strong ownership and follow-through\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth scaleup environment\nNice to have:\nPrior experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or field engineering role\nFamiliarity with synthetic data generation\nExperience supporting enterprise AI or developer tools\nBackground in audio hardware, voice tech, or AI systems\nExperience working with long, complex sales cycles\nIf you enjoy owning the technical side of deals, working closely with advanced customers, and helping turn cutting-edge audio AI technology into real business impact, we would love to hear from you.
