Your role will directly impact the success of the site by ensuring smooth production operations, by overseeing and managing the daily operations of the production floor.\nYou will lead a team of supervisors, operators, and workers, focusing on maximizing productivity, minimizing downtime, and maintaining high safety and quality standards, making a meaningful difference in the day-to-day experience of employees.\nYou’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:\nProvide leadership, guidance, and support to production supervisors and team members, including assigning tasks and ensuring production targets and schedules are met.\nCoordinate production workflows, monitor production lines, and ensure equipment and materials are available.\nLead and promote a safety-first culture by actively supporting the site’s Health & Safety program and provide leadership while ensuring compliance with all Food Safety and Quality requirements.\nChampion Continuous Improvement (CI) activities and foster an environment of employee engagement, empowerment, and teamwork, particularly in relation to CI, LEAN, and other change-driven areas.\nMonitor and evaluate worker performance and provide constructive feedback, including corrective actions as needed.\nIdentify and resolve quality issues, collaborating with quality control and engineering teams as necessary.\nMonitor production processes to prevent defects and minimize waste.\nOversee routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery to ensure minimal downtime.\nEnsure the production area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.\nPrepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports on production performance, including any issues or improvements.\nEnsure compliance with all company and plant policies and procedures, including collective bargaining agreements (if applicable).\nContribute to the development and execution of strategic plant-wide initiatives.\nServe as an active member of the Plant Steering Team, contributing to site strategy, performance, and continuous improvement objectives.\nImportant Details:\nThe anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $97,500 to $146,300 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award, bonus and equity pay.\nThis is a full-time, on-site role on first shift, Monday through Friday.
