This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the production floor. This role ensures that production processes run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. The supervisor leads a team of operators, technicians, and workers, focusing on maximizing productivity, minimizing downtime, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.\nYou’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:\nProvide leadership, guidance, and support to production workers, including assigning day to day tasks and ensuring production targets and schedules are met.\nCoordinate production workflows, monitor production lines, and ensure equipment and materials are available.\nEnsure adherence to safety protocols and company policies during all production processes.\nConduct training and development programs for new hires and existing staff to maintain skill levels.\nMonitor and evaluate worker performance and provide constructive feedback, including corrective actions as needed.\nEnsure products meet required quality standards through regular inspections and testing.\nIdentify and resolve quality issues, collaborating with quality control and engineering teams as necessary.\nMonitor production processes to prevent defects and minimize waste.\nOversee routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery to ensure minimal downtime.\nEnsure the production area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.\nConduct safety audits and hold regular safety meetings to promote a culture of safety on the production floor.\nMaintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and maintenance logs.\nPrepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports on production performance, including any issues or improvements.\nDocument all safety incidents, accidents, and near misses, and follow up with necessary investigations or corrective actions.\nLead and collaborate with other departments to participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.\nMaintain Dimensions (time keeping) for all hourly employees, and production records and accurately complete all reports as required.\nEnsure compliance with all company and plant policies and procedures, including collective bargaining agreements.\nImportant Details:\nWork Schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a rotating 2-2-3 (Panama) schedule, providing every other weekend off.\nThe anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $ 76,200.00 - 114,200.00 USD annually.
