The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing modern workplace technologies and troubleshooting complex technical issues. This role reports to our Director, IT Operations and will work closely with both our in-house engineers and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) supporting Treeliners from every department across multiple countries.\nResponsibilities\nServe as the primary technical escalation point for the IT organization, including providing hands-on support to end users as needed.\nHands-on leadership for complex technical initiatives.\nServe as a secondary technical decision-maker for IT Operations, providing recommendations to the Director on tooling, standards, and vendor issues.\nAdminister, support, and optimize cloud-based enterprise technologies, including endpoint, identity, and security management solutions.\nManage modern workplace technologies and troubleshoot complex technical issues.\nAdminister and maintain Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID environments, including Conditional Access Policies and endpoint security configurations.\nManage identity and access solutions, including Okta and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), to safeguard Treeline systems and data.\nDevelop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.\nPartner with in-house engineers and MSPs to support employees across multiple departments and countries.\nMaintain accurate documentation, ticket updates, and knowledge base articles in accordance with established ITSM processes.\nCollaborate with local and remote coworkers and vendors to design, implement, and continuously improve IT solutions.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.\n8-10+ years of experience in systems administration, endpoint management, identity management, or IT operations.\nA broad range of overall IT experience, including Windows, Mac, Databases, Storage, Security, Networking and public clouds.\nStrong hands-on experience with the following or similar:\nMicrosoft 365 Administration\nMicrosoft Intune\nManageEngine Endpoint Central\nMicrosoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access Policies\nOkta\nEndpoint security and device management\nMulti-Factor Authentication (MFA)\nPowerShell (Basic to Intermediate)\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.\nA track record of taking ownership in issue resolution. No problem is too big or too small.\nOrganized and detail orientated.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation, ticket updates, and knowledge base contributions.\nFamiliarity with ticketing systems and ITSM processes\nExperience working collaboratively with coworkers and vendors, both local and remote, while also being effective working independently.\nYou are curious, creative, and innovative and want to continuously improve our processes.\nPrevious experience working in a biotech startup or biopharmaceutical.\nRelated certifications are a plus\nAbility to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users\nPatient, customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service quality\nAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple issues simultaneously\nThis position is classified as exempt. The anticipated annual base salary range for candidates who will work in Watertown is $180,250 to $196,751. The final base salary offered to the successful candidate will be dependent upon several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, and other factors.
