Our focus includes solutions for banking, insurance, payments, and financial services.\n ArcBee is looking for a highly experienced Senior MQ Systems Programmer with strong hands-on expertise in IBM MQ on z/OS for a long-term assignment in a business-critical financial infrastructure environment.\nYou will join a skilled mainframe infrastructure team responsible for the availability, security, maintenance and continuous modernization of the IBM MQ platform. This is a senior, hands-on role for a consultant who is comfortable taking technical ownership, working independently and collaborating with internal infrastructure teams, application teams and business stakeholders.\nResponsibilities\nAdminister, maintain and support IBM MQ on z/OS in a production-critical environment.\n\nPerform recurring MQ maintenance, including RSU/PTF maintenance and MQ version upgrades.\n\nInstall, configure and maintain MQ-related software using SMP/E.\n\nTroubleshoot MQ platform incidents, assess technical impact and support root-cause analysis.\n\nManage MQ queue managers, channels, security settings and platform configuration.\n\nHandle technical service requests and support internal and external stakeholders.\n\nManage the lifecycle of internal and external certificates used in MQ integrations.\n\nWork with TLS/SSL, PKI, encryption, cipher specifications and MQ-related key management.\n\nContribute to technical documentation, operational procedures and knowledge transfer.\n\nParticipate in modernization initiatives and continuous improvements across the mainframe infrastructure.\n\nRequired experience\nSeveral years of hands-on experience working with IBM z/OS.\n\nProven senior-level experience as an IBM MQ on z/OS Systems Programmer.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with IBM MQ installation, configuration, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting on z/OS.\n\nExperience with SMP/E, including software installation, maintenance and lifecycle management.\n\nExperience performing MQ RSU/PTF maintenance and version upgrades.\n\nStrong knowledge of MQ security, TLS/SSL, PKI, certificates, ciphers and key management.\n\nExperience renewing, replacing and maintaining internal and external digital certificates.\n\nAbility to work independently, communicate clearly and collaborate effectively in a complex enterprise environment.\n\nProfessional working proficiency in English.\n\n Preferred experience\nExperience with z/OS Unix System Services (USS).\n\nBroader systems-programming experience across z/OS, such as RACF, CICS, DB2 or system security.\n\nExperience with IBM MQ on Windows or distributed MQ environments.\n\nExperience from banking, financial services, clearing, insurance, telecom or another high-availability and regulated environment.\n\nAvailability for on-site or hybrid
