The Human Resources Business Advisor is primarily responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the human resources department within a Business Unit. This role will support employees primarily in United States and Mexico. The role will be reporting directly to the HR Director. This role is equally HR-focused and business-based and is very well-suited to an individual who can see the big picture and execute all the necessary steps toward continued business growth and achievement of goals. The HRBP will provide a service-oriented approach to HR and will be responsible for overseeing employee lifecycle management, including recruiting, talent management, annual compensation, and the bonus processes, The HRBP will gain and maintain an effective level of business acumen about the business unit’s financial position, culture, and competition. This is a remote preferably based in the vicinity of El Paso, Texas with regular travel between the United States and Mexico.Job Description:\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nServe as the business subject matter expert regarding all Human Resource policy including guidance, development, and interpretation \nProvide support on business unit restructuring and organization design. Facilitate new workforce planning \nAct as a change ambassador for all levels of change. Communicates changes in Company personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed \nWork closely with leadership and employees to improve employee engagement, build morale, increase productivity and retention \nManage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Be the leader in organizational change \nImplement and align human resources strategies by establishing accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, Affirmative Action (AA)/Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) compliance, and labor relations \nMaintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance \nWork with leadership team to complete talent management and succession planning efforts. \nComplete a business wide training needs audit, create and facilitate training sessions for employees and leaders, as well as evaluating and monitoring the success of training programs \nProvide subject matter expertise on employment engagement and development; establish and/or update programs, policies, procedures, and tools \nParticipates in committees, business strategy and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities \nWork with broader HR Portfolio team to support HR projects and HRIS management \nCreate processes and practices to attract top talent, sources and interviews for all levels of positions \nAttend and be an active participant in Annual Planning sessions and quarterly business reviews \nDesign and prepare job descriptions and assist with compensation benchmarking \nCoordinate and/or conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation \nUpdates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities;
