This position has a significant focus on supporting Dryvit EIFS products and systems in Canada. \nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nRecommend and approve Product Line application policies within technical literature.\n\nAnswers project-specific questions. Review project drawings and make recommendations. \n\nCoordinate 3rd party testing certification/approvals.\n\nRecommend project or product specific testing, interpret results, and make recommendations based on finding.\n\nHigh level of understanding of testing methods/techniques for Laboratory/Field Testing. \n\nPresent a comprehensive understanding of testing methods to confirm varying compatibility among materials.\n\nDevelop and review of product literature, application instruction, and the maintenance and updating of field training manuals. \n\nComprehensive understanding of applicable Building Code requirements related to EIFS and other types of façade systems. \n\nWrite, review, and make recommendations for letters of installation and job parameters along with detailed drawings to help make the sale.\n\nFormally respond to inquiries in written form based on sound engineering judgement.\n\nProvide technical training to internal and external customers focused on façade systems, code requirements, test methods, and application of relevant Tremco systems.\n\nEffectively collaborate with internal and designated external customers.\n\nAssure product performance through reviewing and making recommendations for proper use and field application.\n\nMaster assigned core product line technology to include writing policy.\n\nActively able to train/mentor new employees. \n\nDemonstrate a high level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.\n\nDemonstrate a high level of understanding of building science principles. \n\nEDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in science, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar field required; High School Diploma or GED and 15+ years related experience required, in lieu of college degree.\nEXPERIENCE:\n\n7+ years of Civil Engineering, Architectural, Building Envelope, Building Science, Construction Consulting, Construction industry or similar experience.\n\nStrong consideration will be given to candidates with experience in the field (job-site-related experience).\n\nExpertise with Canadian codes related to EIFS, system fire performance, air/water resistive barrier systems.\n\nStrong background in understanding building science principles and performing related wall assembly analyses for a diversity of wall systems. \n\nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: \n\nOHSA 10 Preferred but not required\n\nEngineer-in-Training Certification Preferred but not required\n\nLicensed Engineer or Registered Architect Preferred but not required \n\nOTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: \nExperience with Auto CAD (preferred) Word, Excel, and Bluebeam.\n\nExperience with hygrothermal modeling software preferred, but not required (WUFI, THERM, etc.)\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities.\n\nEffective team player.\n\nSelf-motivated.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to travel up to 10% in the North America region.\n\nMentoring/Training.\n\nBENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $110,854 and $138,570 plus incentive compensation.
