We’re a place for designers who care about doing things well.\nAbout the role\nWe're hiring a Senior Product Designer to own design for one of our product areas. You'll join a small team of product designers led by our Director of Product Design, and you'll be embedded in the Core Product squad with a product manager and several engineers. You'll work on improving and creating the journeys new users take through the product, with a focus on getting new users to value fast.\nHalf of our product is used by recipients who never chose us, so the experience has to be self-evident. The other half is a powerful dashboard and API used by everyone from mom-and-pop shops to Google. With one designer per squad, you'll have direct ownership of the experiences you ship.\nWhat you'll do\nCraft rational, elegant, and intuitive interfaces. We care about implementation ease as much as we care about pixel-perfection.\n\nOwn the content. Designers at Tremendous own the product copy in their designs.\n\nStrategic influence. Contribute to the team’s vision, planning, and roadmap.\n\nContribute to our design system. Consistency is a big part of usability, especially for a financial platform. Your Notion docs and Figma files should give anyone clear context, constraints, and options without a meeting.\n\nUse AI throughout your workflow. Research, prototyping, and iteration. Push forward and maintain a high design bar and level of execution.\n\nDesign for a diverse set of recipients, with accessibility and internationalization in mind.\n\nCollaborative design. Work closely with PMs, Engineers, and others.\n\nWhat you'll bring\n8+ years of product design experience.\n\nExperience at a startup or fast-moving product company.\n\nA portfolio demonstrating functional, simple, and delightful user interfaces.\n\nProven experience building and improving design systems.\n\nExcellent written communication and copywriting skills.\n\nExperience using AI tools in your design workflow, including prototyping (v0, Claude, Cursor, or similar).\n\nThe ability to handle ambiguity.
