This role you be provided with close mentorship from experienced data and analytics engineers as you build your foundation in BI engineering. You will help build the data models, pipelines, and dashboards that business stakeholders rely on. You will learn how our data is structured, how it flows from source systems to reporting, and how small data issues can change a business decision.\nWhat You'll Do:\nWrite and maintain SQL queries, data models, and transformations that power dashboards and recurring reports.\nBuild and maintain repeatable, scripted pipelines for extracting and transforming data, avoiding one-off manual steps that can't be rerun or audited.\nBuild and maintain dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.\nTranslate business questions into clear technical requirements, working with analysts, engineers, and product partners.\nReconcile data across sources and document discrepancies rather than silently choosing one.\nValidate data accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and monitor data quality over time.\nTreat missing or failed data as unknown and flag it, so a gap is never reported as a confirmed zero or \"none found.\"\nRecord provenance, metric definitions, and confidence levels so stakeholders can tell verified figures from inferred ones.\nTest pipelines under realistic conditions (volume, rate limits, source failures) before committing to a design.\nSupport ad hoc analysis requests and help prioritize them alongside planned work.\nContribute to team standards for code review, version control, and documentation.\nGrow your skills on with a path toward owning datasets end to end.\nProactively communicate to business stakeholders or request owner to make sure the outcomes deliver on time and on quality.\nWhat You Should Have:\nExperience in computer science, data science, statistics, information systems, business analytics, or a related field.\nWorking proficiency in SQL, including joins, aggregations, and window functions.\nUnderstanding of core data modeling concepts such as dimensional modeling and star schemas, gained through coursework, projects, or internships.\nFamiliarity with at least one data visualization tool.\nAbility to verify outputs against independent sources and to explain how you checked your work.\nComfort working with source systems that are poorly documented or change without notice, such as inspecting web application behavior or undocumented APIs.\nExperience using AI tools in analysis work while independently validating their output.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.\nClear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data findings to non-technical audiences.\nWhat Will Make You Stand Out:\nInternship or project experience building dashboards, reports, or data pipelines.\nPython scripting for data extraction, validation, or automation.\nExposure to data quality checks, testing, or audit-trail practices.\nExposure to cloud data warehouses (such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift) or transformation tools (such as dbt or Airflow).\nInterest in cybersecurity, cloud, or AI products and the data they generate.\nWhat We Offer You:\nYou're important to us.
