Our mission is to transform a collection of security products into a unified intelligence platform where agents can reason across identities, devices, cloud resources, threats, incidents, and business assets.\nAs a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in building the data foundation that powers our ontology platform. You will design and implement large-scale ingestion pipelines, semantic mapping frameworks, entity resolution processes, and product integrations that convert siloed security data into connected knowledge.\nThis role sits at the intersection of data engineering, cybersecurity, knowledge graphs, and AI systems.\nWhat You'll Do:\nOntology & Knowledge Acquisition:\nDesign and develop scalable pipelines that transform product-specific data models into a canonical ontology.\nBuild data ingestion frameworks for security telemetry, alerts, incidents, asset inventories, cloud resources, and identity systems.\nImplement schema mapping and transformation processes between product databases and ontology entities.\nDevelop entity resolution and deduplication mechanisms across multiple security products.\nEnsure data quality, lineage, consistency, and governance throughout the knowledge lifecycle.\nProduct Integrations:\nPartner with product teams to onboard new security products into the ontology ecosystem.\nDesign reusable integration patterns and semantic contracts for product teams.\nBuild APIs, connectors, and streaming pipelines that publish product data into the ontology platform.\nDrive standardization of cross-product data models and relationships.\nKnowledge Graph Enablement:\nModel entities and relationships that support graph-based reasoning.\nOptimize graph ingestion and enrichment workflows.\nSupport creation of attack paths, asset relationships, risk models, and contextual security views.\nCollaborate with ontology architects to evolve the platform's semantic model.\nPlatform Engineering:\nBuild highly scalable distributed data pipelines processing billions of security events.\nDevelop observability, monitoring, and quality validation frameworks.\nImplement batch and real-time data processing architectures.\nDrive performance optimization, scalability, and reliability of ontology ingestion systems.\nAI & Agent Enablement:\nEnable AI agents to consume structured security knowledge through ontology APIs.\nContribute to data products that support agent reasoning, investigation, and automation.\nBuild enrichment pipelines that improve context available to autonomous security workflows.\nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related fields.\nStrong experience building large-scale distributed data systems.\nProficiency in Python and SQL.\nExperience with modern data platforms such as:Apache Spark\nApache Kafka\nApache Flink\nAirflow\nDatabricks\n\nExperience designing and operating ETL/ELT pipelines at scale.\nStrong understanding of data modeling and schema design.\nExperience working with cloud platforms such as:AWS\nAzure\nGCP\n\nFamiliarity with REST APIs and event-driven architectures.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with graph databases and knowledge graph technologies such as:Neo4j\nAmazon Neptune\nJanusGraph\n\nExperience with ontology modeling, semantic technologies, or entity resolution systems.\nCybersecurity domain knowledge across endpoint, cloud, identity, network, or SIEM platforms.\nExperience building data products that support AI, machine learning, or agentic systems.\nFamiliarity with graph analytics, relationship modeling, and knowledge representation.\nExperience operating large-scale streaming architectures.\nWhat Success Looks Like:\nWithin your first year, you will:\nEnable onboarding of multiple security products into the shared ontology platform.\nDeliver scalable pipelines that transform siloed product data into connected knowledge.\nImprove entity resolution and cross-product correlation capabilities.\nIncrease ontology coverage across security domains such as identity, endpoint, cloud, and network.\nHelp establish the data foundation that powers AI agents, investigations, risk analysis, and autonomous security workflows.\nWhy This Role Matters:\nMost security platforms stop at aggregating data.\nOur goal is to create a Security Knowledge Operating System where:\nProducts contribute knowledge.\nOntologies organize knowledge.\nKnowledge graphs connect knowledge.\nAI agents reason over knowledge.\nAs a Senior Data Engineer, you will be one of the key builders turning disconnected security telemetry into a shared intelligence layer that powers the future of autonomous cybersecurity.\nWhat We Offer You:\nYou're important to us.
