You own the technical relationship throughout the pre-sales cycle and play a key role in winning new business by providing clear, practical and hands-on technical guidance - onsite, virtually and remotely.\nKey Responsibilities\nAct as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners throughout the sales cycle\n\nLead and execute Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and support the implementation of Trend Micro solutions\n\nDeliver compelling technical demonstrations of Trend Cloud solutions and integrations across AWS, Azure and GCP\n\nDesign and explain solutions to complex cloud and cybersecurity challenges\n\nBuild and maintain strong technical relationships with enterprise customers and strategic partners\n\nSupport alliance initiatives, beta programs and the continuous development of SE best practices\n\nBuild internal technical readiness and develop subject matter expertise across Trend Micro technologies\n\nTravel regionally up to approximately 30-35%\n\nYour Profile\nWe are open to two types of candidates:\nEarly-Career Technologists\nTechnical professionals with a background in architecture, software development, networking or systems engineering who are looking to transition into a customer-facing Sales Engineering role within Cybersecurity.\nExperienced Sales Engineers / Security Specialists\nProfessionals bringing:\n3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering or Professional Services\n\n3+ years of experience working with cybersecurity products and technologies, such as firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS or content security\n\nHands-on experience with AWS, Azure and/or GCP environments\n\nExperience in SOC, Incident Response or security operations is a strong plus\n\nDesirable Skills & Certifications\nCEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP or comparable security certifications\n\nAWS certifications\n\nSolid understanding of security incidents, cloud architectures and security best practices\n\nScripting experience with Python, PowerShell and/or Bash\n\nExcellent communication, presentation and customer-facing skills\n\nAbility to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, collaborative approach\n\nAt Trend Micro, we embrace change, empower people, and encourage innovation in a connected world.
