As a Trend Micro product expert will guide customers and prospects in the selection and deployment of Trend Micro Next-Gen security solutions and take joint ownership with Sales team in developing customer relationships, providing leadership in security architecture and help influence customer’s technical strategy with strong problem-solving skills. A Sales Engineer is a trusted advisor to customers by developing an understanding of customer needs, risks, tolerance and technology gaps and implementation.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES\nAct as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey - from discovery and evaluation to onboarding, adoption and customer success.\nUnderstand customer security challenges and design practical, scalable solutions that address their business and technical requirements.\nPartner closely with Sales as a key technical pillar, using strong storytelling, demonstrations and presentations to communicate security value and win opportunities.\nLead technical workshops, PoCs/PoVs, solution validations and customer evaluations.\nBuild, train and enable channel partners, including MSSPs, SOC/MDR providers and system integrators, to effectively position and deliver TrendAI solutions.\nWork closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering and Technical Support to ensure strong product knowledge, customer feedback and technical outcomes.\nMaintain strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies including Cloud Security, Zero Trust, SASE/SSE, XDR, SIEM/SOAR, EDR/NDR, Identity Security, CNAPP and Exposure Management.\nStay ahead of emerging technologies, particularly AI/GenAI Security, AI-powered Security Operations, Agentic AI, AI Supply Chain Security and Security for AI applications.\nDeliver customer and partner training and represent TrendAI through webinars, workshops, conferences and industry events.\nContinuously develop technical expertise and contribute to reusable solution architectures, best practices, competitive insights and product strategy.\n\nEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS\nMin 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, solutions engineering, consulting or technical presales, with strong experience in enterprise security environments.\nProven experience in customer-facing solution design, technical demonstrations, workshops and PoCs/PoVs.\nStrong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity, security architecture, threat landscape and SOC operations.\nGood knowledge of Cloud Security, Zero Trust, SASE/SSE, XDR, SIEM/SOAR, EDR/NDR, IAM/Identity Security and CNAPP.\nStrong understanding of AWS and Microsoft Azure; Microsoft 365 and Google Cloud knowledge is an advantage.\nGood understanding of networking, security fundamentals, APIs, integrations and cloud-native technologies.\nAwareness of AI/GenAI security, AI-powered cybersecurity, LLM/Agentic AI security and emerging cyber threats.\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001 and OWASP; NIS2 awareness is an advantage.\nExcellent English communication, presentation, storytelling and public-speaking skills, with the ability to explain complex security topics to both technical and executive audiences.\nStrong customer focus, problem-solving mindset and willingness to continuously learn and adapt to rapidly evolving cybersecurity technologies.\nTrendAI strive to build an environment of equity and inclusion, which reflects diverse points of view.
