We are looking for a hands-on builder who enjoys learning, writing code, and turning ideas into working products. Demonstrate your fundamentals through personal projects, coursework, or internships; extensive professional experience is not required.\n\nWhat you'll do\n• Build responsive, high-performance web apps using React and Next.js.\n• Develop robust backend APIs and services and integrate AI/LLM APIs into product features.\n• Prototype AI workflows and evaluate outputs, reliability, latency, and cost with team guidance.\n• Model, query, and optimize SQL databases.\n• Contribute to system design decisions and architecture discussions.\n• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and review teammates work.\n• Debug production issues and improve performance and reliability.\n• Collaborate with product and design to turn ideas into features.\n\nMust-have skills\nFrontend\n• React: hooks, state management, and component design.\n• Next.js: SSR, SSG, routing, API routes, and performance optimization.\n• Solid JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.\n\nBackend\n• Building and consuming REST APIs; GraphQL is a plus.\n• SQL: schema design, joins, indexing, and query optimization.\n• Authentication, authorization, and API security fundamentals.\n• Good grasp of data structures and algorithms.\n• Understanding of caching, queues, background jobs, and rate limiting.\n\nSystem design and AI\n• Ability to explain design choices for scalable, reliable systems.\n• Foundational knowledge of databases, load balancing, distributed-system trade-offs, and failure handling.\n• Familiarity with LLM APIs, prompting, structured outputs, and evaluating responses through a project or prototype.\n• Ability to verify AI-generated code and explain and debug your implementation.\n\nGood to have\n• Node.js, Python, or Go.\n• RAG, embeddings, or vector databases.\n• Redis, message queues, or microservices.\n• AWS/GCP and Docker.\n• CI/CD and automated testing.\n• Multi-tenant or SaaS product experience.\n\nWho should apply\nApply if you are eager to learn, take ownership, and act on feedback.
