If you are values-driven and share our beliefs, if you are willing to hold yourself and others accountable to the highest standards, then Trex is a place you can call home.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nPut safety first - Always!\nLead and foster our “people first” culture\nPlan, organize, lead, and facilitate Continuous Improvement events (Kaizen, Loss Elimination, Value Stream Mapping, Value Engineering, etc.) and process improvement activities.\nWork individually and lead teams to complete projects following systemic loss elimination processes/tools and Six Sigma methodologies.\nProvide continuous improvement support to hourly employees, professionals, and managers in multiple departments for respective ownership area(s).\nDesign, develop, and implement improved workflows.\nPartner with Process Engineering, Production, and Training departments to create and update work instructions, visual aids, and standards.\nTrain employees in, Manufacturing Excellence Lean principles (5S, 8 Types of Wastes, Poka-Yoke, visual controls, time studies, effort balance, etc.) and structured problem-solving techniques.\nIdentify opportunities and complete projects in line with annual CI goals.\nFacilitate cost savings cadence and ensure master CI project list is updated.\nJOB LOCATION\nWinchester, Virginia, United States (On-site)\nPOSITION TYPE\nFull-Time/Regular\nEXPERIENCE\nWe are looking for leaders with a bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related field. Five years of experience in a manufacturing organization, along with three years of project management experience, is required. You will need three or more years of Continuous Improvement Methodology experience to be successful in this role. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.\nAt Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
