As a Trex Machine Operator I, you’ll be responsible for operating production equipment, quality control checks and perform special processes and projects as required by leadership. If you are values driven and share our beliefs, if you are willing to hold yourself and others accountable to the highest standards, then Trex is a place you can call home.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nPut safety first - always\nWork as a team to drive our “people first” culture\nWork in a safe and efficient manner at all times, including but not limited to proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures\nPerform housekeeping duties to keep plant in a safe state\nPerform quality control checks on product during the production process to ensure that product specifications and standards are met\nDeliver raw materials to the process lines at a rate that allows us to meet our production goals\nMust be able to be forklift certified, requiring proper vision, hearing, and motor skills\nOperate forklift in a safe and efficient manner while handling production material. In addition to the forklift, operators must also have knowledge on how to safely operate additional equipment such as grinders, mills, and other hand tools etc. \nOperate production-classified machinery appropriately for each type of product movement or job duty\nControl production line processes (including poly area, raw materials, monitor operations, troubleshoot production issues and make adjustments when necessary).\nPerform special processes and projects as required by leadership\nMust be able to work 12-hour shifts, standing for extended periods of time\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds\nMust be able and willing to comply with PPE requirements at all times\nEXPERIENCE\nPrevious experience with bulk materials, chemical systems or related experience is preferred for this role, but if you’ve worked in a manufacturing environment before, we want to hear from you!\nAt Trex, we believe in persevering even when there’s not a road map, embracing groundbreaking as a way of life.
