We are seeking CDL Drivers to assist us in meeting production and quality goals. This position is responsible for delivering decking and railing orders to pro channel and retail customers. Other responsibilities may include transferring pellets from railcars and gaylords/supersacks to silos, or shuttling trailers between buildings in Winchester. The primary goal of this position is to safely and efficiently deliver Trex product to Trex Customers, and could include performing duties in multiple work areas, as listed below:\nOur operations team is guided by five beliefs:\n1. If you are values-driven and share our beliefs, and if you are committed to upholding the highest standards for yourself and others, then Trex is the place for you.\nKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nRepresent Trex in a professional manner while making deliveries in a safe and efficient manner to customer sites.\nOperate all Tractors and other equipment as needed to perform duties in a manner that promotes safety for the position and all employees on shift.\nAs needed, support shuttle and jockey movements between buildings/sites to support Winchester Operations- this may include movement of wood trailers and vans.\nAs needed, ensure timely transfers of pellet material from railcars to silos as well as gaylords/supersacks into silos (as needed)..\nEnsure weighing of all trailers as required by activity/trailer type.\nInspect trailers for damage daily to ensure the fleet remains intact (specifically trailers that are moved)\nWork overtime as required\nSupport fleet center activities as needed\nRequires operational certification and practical demonstration\nAbility to complete required documentation as necessary for driving activities\nWork well in a team environment with the desire to learn and clearly communicate with the Logistics Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, Maintenance, and coworkers\nAny additional duties as assigned by management\nPay Range: Base Pay $33.21 + $2.00 shift differential $35.21 per hour\nEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nTECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:\nMust be able to understand and complete all documentation involved in the driving position.\nGeneral knowledge of proper communication etiquette, and the importance of initiative, teamwork, and a positive attitude.\nOther:\nDemonstrate regular attendance, punctuality, and flexibility.\nRecognize safety is a priority in all aspects and functions of work practice.\nCDL- Class A License with an active DOT physical\nWHO WE ARE\nOver 30 years ago, our founders created the world's first high-performance, low-maintenance composite decking and outdoor living products.
