Precision Assemblies, a Trexon Company, is hiring for a Manufacturing Assembler at their Chandler, AZ location. The Manufacturing Assembler is responsible for assembling complex wire harnesses and mechanical components by interpreting drawings, using manual and automatic tools, and adhering to industry and in-house standards. This position requires hands-on work, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning and quality workmanship.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTool Use & Skill Development\nLearn and apply assembly tools and techniques effectively.\nRead and interpret technical drawings accurately.\nUse hand and automatic crimp tools.\nInstall boots, markers, Expando, sleeving, and wrap-around markers.\nMeasure wire lengths using calipers, scales, and tape measures.\nOperate heat guns with correct settings for shrink applications.\nPerform soldering using traditional and resistive soldering tools.\nParticipate in ongoing on-the-job training to improve skills, accuracy, and efficiency.\nAssembly Work\nBuild wire harnesses and mechanical assemblies according to print.\nCrimp, strip, and handle various wires and components using hand tools.\nFollow all drawing requirements, general and flag notes, travelers, and work instructions.\nComply with workmanship standards (IPC-620, J-STD-001, TE.04-03-training provided if needed).\nDocument work accurately and completely in production travelers.\nQualifications\nRequired:\nSoldering experience\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nAbility to read and interpret drawings and technical documents\nFamiliarity with basic hand tools and measuring instruments\nWillingness to participate in training and learn specialized techniques\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality\nAble to work in a team environment\nPreferred:\nPrevious experience in cable or wire harness assembly\nKnowledge of IPC-620 or J-STD-001 standards\nWork Environment / Physical Requirements\nAbility to sit or stand for extended periods\nManual dexterity and visual acuity to perform detailed assembly work\nLight lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required\nUse of PPE and adherence to safety protocols required in production area\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S.\nAbout C.E.
