Oversee wiring /tubing inventory.\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation:\nHigh School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)\nExperience:\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in receiving or quality inspection within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the cable or electronics industry.\nHands-on experience identifying discrepancies, damages, or quality issues in incoming materials and coordinating with internal teams to resolve them.\nDemonstrated experience working with Purchasing, Production, and Quality teams to ensure timely resolution of receiving issues (preferred).\nExperience completing receiving inspection reports, logging non-conformances, and maintaining accurate records of incoming material checks (preferred).\nProven ability to support root cause analysis and corrective action processes for supplier-related quality issues (preferred).\nKnowledge:\nUnderstanding of raw materials and components used in cable manufacturing, including conductors, shielding, insulation, connectors, and hardware (preferred).\nFamiliarity with visual inspection techniques and the use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures (preferred).\nKnowledge of applicable quality standards and specifications such as IPC/WHMA-A-620, ISO 9001, and internal inspection procedures (preferred).\nAbility to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, engineering drawings, and bills of materials (preferred).\nWorking knowledge of ERP systems for receiving and inventory management, and understanding of proper documentation practices for inspections and non-conformances (preferred).\nKnowledge of material handling protocols, including ESD protection and safe storage of sensitive or heavy components (preferred).\nSkills:\nAbility to use and learn multiple computer software i.e. Microsoft products, MAS200 and CRM database program.\nAble to read, analyze, comprehend and interpret business documents. Speaks clearly. Able to communicate effectively for the needs of the audience.\nThe ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, dates, business operations).\nEnsuring that one's own and others' work and information are complete and accurate.\nUsing logic and reasoning to identify some alternative solutions\nJob Responsibilities\nInspect shipment package for damage. Damaged shipments are returned.\nDate stamp and examine shipment contents when it arrives in receiving. Compare products with records, such as packing list, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.\nRecord the appropriate information on the computer system. Enter the shipment data under the Receiving area. Under the Quality section inspect the product. Verify the product to the information contained in the system. \nInvestigate wiring/ tubing shortages\nComplete the NCM option (nonconformance) if the part/ material is being rejected.\nMove shipping materials and supplies to the kitting and cut center areas.\nComply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to the appropriate person.\nParticipate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nOther responsibilities, initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required. \n\nInternal and External Relationships\nInternal: Collaborates closely with Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to ensure accurate receipt, inspection, and resolution of material issues.\nExternal: Communicates with suppliers and vendors to clarify material specifications, report discrepancies, and facilitate timely corrective actions.\n\nPhysical Requirements \nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
