We, at Power Connector, are responsible for revolutionizing the company and securing and expanding its global connection. \nThe Supply Chain Associate is responsible for enhancing and strengthening our supply chain to enable the growth and development of the business by driving improvements within all supply chain functions, including the analysis and assessment of throughput, planning, increasing and optimizing capacity, and executing on daily purchasing tasks. This position’s primary focus is to contribute and execute on the team’s strategic plans for supply chain optimization, expansion, and sustainability.\nThis individual is a dynamic, adaptable, open-minded problem solver with exceptional interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. In turn, these skills will be used for strategic planning and efforts in increasing efficiency and efficacy in all supply chain disciplines. This position has a strong influence on the fundamental principles guiding supply chain functionality and works closely with the Supply Chain Manager and Business Unit Director to realize the company’s true supply chain potential. \nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation:\nAssociate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or relevant field (preferred)\nExperience: \n2-4 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing environment\nKnowledge: \nPrevious experience in the connector or wire and cable industry (preferred)\nSkills:\nStrong oral and written communication and presentation skills \nExcellent leadership skills\nExcellent organizational skills \nResults-oriented with analytical skills\nAbility to work effectively under stressful and dynamic environments\nAbility to motivate team members in a creative and effective manner\nJob Responsibilities\nPlan, schedule, and monitor production and supply chain activities to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery.\nCoordinate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Engineering, Sales, and suppliers to align demand, resolve issues, and maintain operational continuity.\nPlan and manage manpower, equipment, materials, and inventory requirements using MRP and other planning tools.\nLead purchasing activities, including supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, purchase order execution, and delivery management.\nMonitor and improve supplier performance across lead time, quality, cost, capacity, and throughput; lead second-source and supplier diversification initiatives.\nMaintain accurate and timely records of inventory, costs, deliveries, purchase orders, and supplier performance.\nAdjust production and supply plans in response to demand changes, material shortages, capacity constraints, and operational disruptions.\nIdentify supply chain risks, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints while supporting SIOP, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with supplier contracts, quality standards, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.\nSupport long-term capacity and supply planning, management reporting, change management, and overall supply chain optimization.\nAnalyze supplier pricing, cost structures, and financial data to support sourcing strategies, negotiations, and cost-reduction initiatives.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to support business and operational objectives.\nEstablish and track KPIs related to productivity, delivery performance, inventory, supplier performance, service levels, and continuous improvement.\nMonitor industry trends, supplier markets, emerging technologies, and competitive developments to identify opportunities and strengthen supply chain resilience.\n Other responsibilities, initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required. \nPhysical Requirements \nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
