Located in Longmont, Colorado, ICS is currently seeking a Production Lead to join our team in our dynamic wire harness manufacturing facility.We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in wire harness and cable assembly within the Aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional technical skills and leadership capabilities to ensure the delivery of precise, high-quality assemblies that meet rigorous industry standards. \nAs a Production Lead, you will play a key role in driving daily and weekly production goals, collaborating with team members, and upholding a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is dependable, hands-on, a strong communicator, and takes pride in leading by example while fostering a productive and supportive team environment. \n Compensation: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience. \nA full benefits package is available, including health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match. \nSchedule \nFull-Time - On-site \nMonday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM\nFriday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM\nOvertime: Flexibility to work overtime as needed is required\nSpecific Responsibilities \nProvide timely and technical assistance to Assembly Technicians to support efficient operations.\nCollaborate with the Production Supervisor and management team to monitor, evaluate, and report on productivity levels.\nCommunicate expectations clearly to manufacturing team members and ensure alignment with production goals.\nEnsure compliance with all plans, specifications, and standards set by the customer, vendor, and company during the assembly of products.\nEnforce and administer all company policies, procedures, and work instructions.\nAssist the Production Supervisor in resolving production or quality issues that may impact future production or customer schedules.\nEvaluate production needs daily and assign duties accordingly (e.g., tooling, training).\nRecommend improvements or updates to work procedures to support production efficiency and quality standards.\nPerform in-process inspections when necessary and accurately document required data.\nVerify that all procedures and tasks are completed correctly and in accordance with established standards.\nManage technician work order queues to ensure maximum productivity throughout the shift.\nProvide close supervision and process oversight for new hires transitioning from training to active production.\nFoster a collaborative and positive work environment with all employees.\nActively seek and promote opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and productivity. \nRequired Skills and Qualifications \nExperience: \n3-5 years of hands-on experience in wire harness and cable assembly.\nProven ability to assemble and fabricate wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications. \nTechnical Proficiency: \nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, drawing notes, and assembly procedures.\nSkilled in using precision measuring tools such as rulers, tape measures, scales, and calipers.\nCompetent in using hand tools, soldering irons, and specialized assembly equipment. \nQuality & Inspection: \nAttention to detail with a strong sense of quality and pride in craftsmanship.\nCapable of conducting inspections and testing to ensure assemblies meet quality and functionality standards. \nComputer Skills: \nProficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications. \nCommunication & Language: \nMust be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.\nBilingual in English and Spanish required\nOther Requirements: \nMust have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.\nAbility to pass a criminal background check.\nStrong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team. \nMust be authorized to work in the U.S. and Must be a U.S. Person \nAbout Integrated Cable Systems:\nICS is a manufacturer of custom cables, harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies and industrial panels.
